Flight to Paris

"I talked to your parents last week. Have you talk with your parents?" madam told us in a meeting. It's been a week, "Yes. I've talked to my parents," I exclaimed, "It's okay since my partner will be Leo. We've known each other for years,"

"I can see that." madam then replied. "So, tomorrow will be our flight to France?" Leo asked. And it was a yes. 

All the matters for going to Paris are all settled. Only my self is not yet. We walked together the school hallways and a lot of people were cheering at us for the school competition. They were like, "HOOH! GO LEO AND SARA!" or, "BRING HOME THE BACON BROS! OR ELSE, I'M GONNA BUST YOU OUT! AND YOU KNOW I'M KIDDIN'!" Leo was just smiling and me too.

I saw Mandy, running towards to Leo, "I'm gonna cheer for you both" Ooooh. She looks scary at me. But I didn't mind it.

Leo and I were really silent. I want to break the silence. It's awkward.

"Leo," I first bust a move, "Are you mad at me?"

He didn't respond

Whoaaaw ... "I'm sorry for being weird to you. I know that I've been a quiet girl towards you all the time. I'm really sorry,"

He stared at me. Until he was bursting into laughters.

What the hell? "Is there anything funny?" I asked,

"Yeah!! Yeah!" he answered me while laughing, "Hooh! ahahaa" and laughing and laughing and laughing. He almost cried. He wiped his eyes for it was full of joy tears, "Come here." He pulled my arm and we sat on the grass at the school park, "I was the one who's awkward." he seriously said, 

"You were so silent. I mean, it's like.... It's like you are not Sara that I've known before. Why?"

I was afraid to tell him that I have feelings for him. So instead, I just tell him this, "It's not the right time to tell you the answer to your question," I was quite scared. Maybe he'll get 

"Wow. Weird. I wonder what's the answer..." Boys really have poor intuition... I thought he was going to say, 'do you love me?' or anything.

Then, he suddenly laid his head to my legs, and his hands were reaching my face, "Well, I just hope that the answer is not being jealous with me and Mandy,"

OH MY GOD once again, "Stop it, Leonard! Don't lay down on my legs!" just trying to change the topic, "Haha, sorry." Mandy saw us two. So, she came near to us,

"Leo!" They kissed. WOW KISSING AT SCHOOL? HUH? Well, it was just a smack, "How's your day, honey?" And she pulled Leo away from me. Leaving me sitting by myself at the grass. Being lonely. Looking like a dumb. When I stood up and walked away, he turned around me and shouted, "Later Sara," and I just smile. His face was not contented. Not contented that he just left me. Or Is he?

Don't be dumb Sara. Don't believe on his sweet actions.

I went home without him. Since he has Mandy. When Mandy was not on his life yet, we always go home together. Or if not, he's at his buddies. Some people misunderstood our friendship. 

I'm done having dinner, talked to my parents about everything, and packed my things. As I packed my things, I recalled some of the memorable memories I had with Leo. About how he cared for me. He said I'm only his family left. He said, he doesn't want to see me hurt or anything. He said, he will never leave me. I think I'm just the one who make it serious. To the point that it's not friendship anymore. It's hard to confess your feelings especially when you're a girl. 

5:30am is our flight. I hate getting up early.

The alarm clock's ringing. OH, it's not an alarm clock.. It's my phone, "Hello? Mom?"

"No silly. It's me Leo!"

"Oh Leo!" I tried not to be rude, "You still awake?" "Of course I am!" he replied, "But you need adequate amount of sleeping hours you know?" 

"Nah it's not a problem,"

"So, You excited?" I asked. Pretended to be excited, "You get to see Eiffel tower" "Yeah. I mean, it's really my dream. I don't care if we'll win or not as long I have visited there," he replied, 

"Yes but you should also think about our competition. And I hoped that there's nothing wrong when we get there," I exclaimed, "Yeah. Oh, Mandy's callig me. Uh, Sara, later at 4?" 

"Bye"

Hey ho. He just called to tell me that he's very excited. Well, why he didn't call Mandy instead of me?

5:30 here we go.

Leo always talkes about Paris. I don't even know any French. I have a very poor French. 

We were at the airport. His face was really happy. I always see him so happy before. I just saw the happiest Leo for today.
