"C'mon," Julie exclaimed, "Don't let them see you."
"I know, I know. I'm trying," Alline said, panting for air.
The two girls had been running for what Alline said felt like forever.
Their city had a weak government, and life for the people was very unpleasant. They worked with very little pay, $5.00 an hour. The kids went to school from 8:00am to 5:30pm. They got whacked with rulers four times whenever they did something bad, or did nothing at all, they always did something in school.
But what few people knew, was somebody could bring the government down
The one and only way that someone could bring the government down, was by adventuring around the world, and finding the diamond heart.
