Do You Hear My Cries?

I cry out to the darkness,
"Will you comfort me?"

The horrors and fears had befriended me,
And I didn't feel so alone.
Life had been pointless,
So had been wishes for death.

Too much sadness in the world,
To add to the misery.
Sad to say people still care,
About a ruthless girl like me.

I'm ugly and rude,
Obnoxious, annoying, and frankly quite insane.
I care too much,
But I don't show love;
I'm just a little ball of pent up negativity.

Don't help the darkness.
Don't be like me.
Don't befriend the hatred and regret.
Don't take the hurt and revel in it.
It will harm you eventually,

But by then.
You'll be in too deep.

I cry in misery,
But don't take heed to my pleads.
Just let my name die in history,
Let oblivian take over my life,
And never remember my name.
