Alaina's POV:
I was running as fast as I could away from the rogues. They wanted to kill me. I wouldn't let them, my brother made me promise I would live so I have too. I fought with everything in me to keep fighting. I was uncontous and I knew it. My other senses like my sense of feel and hearing went into over drive. I could here all the yelling all the crying all the pain that my state and his actions caused. I would fight for my life solely to reject him and make him feel all the pain I had felt. I could here the pack doctors heavy footsteps enter the room and inject another needle into my arm. After he injected the needle I felt the liguid start to drip and the fighting got easier and easier. I was going to live. I was a werewolf so obviously my body healed faster and I knew it would only be a matter of hours before the pain subsided.
About an hour later I was able to open my eyes and I automatically reclosed them knowing I wasn't alone. he was here. My wolf had sensed he was upset. 'you idiot open your eyes and make him feel better!' she yelled at me. 'no he hurt me he did this to me and I refuse to just run into his arms again. Life is simpler without my mate.' My wolf silenced after that and I felt my hand lift. Soon the person holding my hand was shaking and I could feel the stream of tears rolling down my hand and arm. Drew was crying over me. I opened our mind link and automatically he sniffled. "Are you...alive! Oh my god she is alive!" He yelled. 'calm down. This doesn't mean you didn't hurt me and were going to get off easy' I said threw our mind link. 'i'm so sorry Alaina I didn't mean too I didn't know this would happen then I felt you and I kicked that slut out of my room and ran for you.' I felt him begin to cry again and I opened my eyes. 'you obviously care about me to let yourself let your guard down as alpha.' I said. He looked at me. I moved my arm out of his and put it around his neck pulling him down to me for a hug. "If you ever and I mean ever pull that again I will rip yours and the sluts who thinks she can touch yous throat out. Understood my Alpha?" He nodded and nuzzled my neck.
Two hours later it was almost morning and I was able to move but had Drew carry me and stated I couldn't walk. He brought me up to our room. He went to put me down but I clung on to him causing him to fall onto the bed next to me. He wouldn't look at me. 'Why wont you look at me Drew?' I said through our mind link. He didn't answer me and shut me out. He looked at me and for one moment I could see a small hint of regret and rejection. I instantly got up and although I almost fell, I ran out of the house and transformed into my white wolf. He had rejected me. After everything Drew, my world, my reason to live rejected me. I could hear footsteps behind me and knew I was being followed and I knew it was drew. 'get back here now or so help m...' I cut off our link. He became angry and got fast. I knew he would catch me he had alpha blood and would be able to double my speed.
After running for maybe another minute my vision went blurry and suddenly I felt myself collapse. I heard a whimper and looked up just before slipping into darkness. I saw Drew in human form and I opened our link knowing I was still a wolf and couldn't talk to him. 'Your rejecting me? Why Drew why? What did I do I promise i'll be a better mate and fix everything I don't know what I did please!' I began to whimper. ' I wasn't rejecting you. I wanted you to reject me because I knew I wasn't good enough for you. You deserve so much more than me.' he said as a tear rolled down his face. 'no don't you ever think that again Drew I love you. I want nothing other than....' I slipped into the darknes unable to fight it any longer.
