Augusts POV
When I was done changing, me and Sunny went down to do our designated chores for the reunion.
“What do you need done in the kitchen ma?”
Mom looked at us, her eyes widening a little when she looked at me.
“Nothing needs too be done in here. Ill call you when the food needs be put out. Just go blow up the toys out there.”
Giving her a salute we were off. Linking her arm through mine Sunny said “Off too the pool we go!” Followed by yet another battle cry, which she happened to yell in my ear. Ignoring her, I went to the pool. But stopped dead when I saw all the pool toys we had to blow up.
“Are you fricken kidding me! There’s like a million pool toys here!”
“Then we better get blowing.” I looked at here with my eyebrows raised, which caused her to giggle and wiggle here eyebrows.
After blowing up about five blow up toys I was done.
“You know what” I wheezed out “I think dad has a pump, or a bike pump in the garage.”
Looking over at Sunny I had to laugh. She was cuddling with a huge dragon. It was kind of cute if you look at it. But then it was somewhat weird. Taking out my phone I took a quick picture of her. Quickly I went to the garage. Looking for the pumps were hard, considering the garage was huge. And my dad didn’t know how too keep it clean to save his life. Lets face it, none of us can keep anything clean, well Lucy can- but that’s just her.
While looking for the pumps, I accidentally knocked over a few tools. Okay! It was more like the whole tool box. I may have grown out a lot of things, but being accident prone is not one of them.
“You haven’t been home for more than a day and your already messing up MY garage.” Yelping I turned around to see my dad with his eyebrows raised. Putting a hand over my heart I could feel it beating so fast, trying to calm my breathing down.
“Jeez dad! You scared the crap out of me!”
“Yeah and you scared my tools! Look there all over the place!”
“I was gonna pick them up.” I mumbled while picking up all the things I dropped.
“Yeah, and I can play the guitar with my hands, and the piano with my feet. At the same time.”
I looked up at him with a smile on my face “Still haven’t master it yet?”
He mumbled a ‘no’. Patting him on the back I told him “Don’t worry dad, you’ll get it soon enough. Even though I told you millions of times its not gonna work, but what ever makes you happy.”
