I Was Lost, till I Found You (Nathan Sykes Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

--Alice's P.O.V--

I'm currently on a bus coming back from Uni. I took my phone out to see if I had any texts.

I had one. It was from Nathan.

Nathan: hey do you want to go out tonight? x

Alice: ya, where to?

Nathan: Tim Horton's on Oak St.

Alice: great c u there :) xx

I went into my apartment and got changed. I put on a pair of skinny jeans and my Ottawa Senators sweater.

I pulled on my converse and walked out the door. I took a taxi to Tim Horton's.

(for people that don't know Tim Horton's is a coffee shop that's only here in Canada -Emily xx)

I got to the coffee shop to see Nathan sitting down at one of the tables.

"Hey", I said. "Hey", he said back as I sat down. "What's that logo on your sweater?" Nathan asked.

"The Ottawa Senators, it's a hockey team", I said. "You like hockey?", he asked.

"I love it", I said, "I've played it since I was a kid"

"So I take it that's your favourite team", Nathan said. "Yup", I replied.

"I'll go order, what do you want?" Nathan asked. "Tea", I replied. He smiled and walked over to the counter to order.

He came back with two teas. He drank it fast. "British boys and their tea", I said laughing. "Tea is amazing, don't judge me.", he said which made me laugh.

"I can tell you love it", I said laughing. Some fans noticed Nathan. "Oh my god its Nathan Sykes!" One of the girls squealed. They got their picture with him.

"Nathan is she your girlfriend?" The fan asked. "No, but could you please leave us alone", Nathan said very politely. They nodded and left.

I smiled at how polite he was. "What", he said. "Nothing", I said taking a sip of my tea.

"So how exactly do you play hockey?", Nathan asked. I explained the concept of the game.

"I'll have to take you to a game before you go back to the UK", I said. "It's a date", he said with a wink which made me giggle.

I got home to see Sarah on the couch watching tv. She was asleep, so I checked the TV guide to see what was on. Ghost Hunters -my favourite show- was on OLN so I put it on.

Sarah woke up. "Where were you?" Sarah asked. "With Nathan", I said. "Ooh tell me all about it", Sarah said. Sarah brought the girlieness out in me. If it wasn't for her I would be a total tomboy.

I told her all about it. "So what's going on with you and Jay anyways?" I asked Sarah. "I don't know if I was just drunk, or I like him", she said sounding confused.

--Nathan's P.O.V--  

I got into the hotel room me and Jay were sharing. "Where were you?" Jay said winking at me. I rolled my eyes at him. "With Alice", I said. "Ooooo", Jay said sounding like a little kid.

I told him about it. "Are you going to ask her to be your girlfriend?" Jay asked. "I don't know yet, I pretty much just met her", I said.

"Are you going to go out with her again?" Jay asked. "Ya, I think she's taking me to a hockey game", I said.

"She's a real Canadian, that one", he said. "She's really awesome", I said. "Ooooo someone's in loooooove", Jay said with a childish tone.

I'm pretty sure I turned bright red. Jay winked at me and walked over to the fridge. He got some cold pizza and set it on the table. I walked over to the box and pulled out a piece.

I took a bite. We sat in the couch and watched Avatar. I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to my ringtone. I woke up and scrambled to get my phone.

I smiled at who it was, it said Alice Gold.

I answered it. "Hello", I said. "Sorry to call you this early but I got the tickets. The game is tomorrow night. Are you free?" Alice asked.

"Ya", I said with a grin. "Great, it's at 8:00", Alice said. "I'll pick you up what's your address?" I asked her.

She told me her address. "Ok then I'll see you tomorrow then", I said. "Alright bye", Alice said.

"Who was that?" Jay asked. He must of woke up when I was talking.

"Alice", I said. "Ooooo", Jay said. I rolled my eyes at him.

"So why'd she call?" Jay asked. "She told me the hockey game is tomorrow at 8", I said.

"So are you gonna ask her to be your girlfriend?" Jay asked. "Maybe", I said.

"Well you better so it soon because we gotta go back to the UK soon", Jay said. "I know", I said.
