New kid part 3

Tomoe pov-
I was running but I wasn't sure where. I ran past stores until I saw Nanami but she was with someone. It was Sota. They were holding hands I called out Nanami she turns around and looks at me. "Nanami what are you doing?" Nanami was going to respond but instead it was Sota who answered"Nanami is Tomoe bothering you?" Nanami gave him a little nod. Shocked I just stood there staring at Nanami but I couldn't see her eyes her hair was covering them. "Hey Tomoe I want you to leave me and Nanami alone. We are in love and we don't want you interfering." Sota said. As he finished his sentence I saw him pulling Nanami closer to him. Nanami just put her head on Sota's chest and they kept walking. I fell on my knees. I felt tears piling in my eyes. It felt like my heart was ripped out. I cried out "Nanami! Please come back. Nanami!"
I woke up yelling Nanami. I felt tears in my eyes but I quickly got up and ran to Nanami's room I opened the door and felt a little uneasy but when I saw Nanami sleeping peacefully I felt a little happy. It seemed that I had woken up Nanami and Nanami's voice was a little raspy but she said "tomoe what are you doing? do you need something?".I responded honestly "i had a nightmare and I was scared and by instinct I came to your room." "oh okay. Tomoe if it helps you can sleep here." shocked by what she just said I felt myself blush. But I did want Nanami to comfort me so I agreed and decided to sleep with her in her futon. As soon as I got in I hugged Nanami tighter. I felt comfort. Her warmth was nice. She had already fallen asleep but I have to admit this position was awkward her back was facing towards me but I didn't care it was a nice feeling. I then started to sleep again since it was still early.
Nanami pov-
I slowly opened my eyes. But something was off I felt something around me. I looked behind me and saw that it was Tomoe. Then it hit me in the night he had a nightmare and I let him sleep in my futon.I held Tomoe a little tighte i felt bad for him I wondered what he dreamt of that made him so scared. I checked my alarm and saw that it was 9 a.m. I decided to get up trying to not wake up tomoe. I succeeded he seemed to be fast asleep. I was going to take a shower. So I went to my closet and got some clothes then went to the bathroom and started to wash my self.
Tomoe pov-
I woke up and I noticed Nanami wasn't there but then I heard the water running she had decided to take a shower. I was kind of disappointed because I couldn't feel her warmth. Her not being here reminded me of my dream. Looking back what was that dream about. If I let Nanami go on the date would that happened? No it wouldn't right? I was feeling frustrated. The water stopped so Nanami must be done with her shower. But seconds later she came out with her towel wrapped around her body. I couldn't help but stare realising what I just did I looked away and blushed. Although Nanami didn't seem bother. "Oh Tomoe your awake. I thought you were sleeping" she said. "Um.. Yeah I just woke up a few seconds ago but I'm going to go cook breakfast." I said as I started to move towards the kitchen. I started to think about Nanami and how she looked like with her towel on. But I wanted know how she would look like with it off- what the heck did I just say. I brushed off the thought. What is wrong with me. I just had to get Nanami out of my mind. So I started to make some pancakes. I enjoyed cooking. It helped me sometimes. It would calm me down and in a way it would get rid of my stress. Once the pancakes were done I called Nanami to the table and she came out of her room and sat down at the table.
Nanami pov-
Hmm the smell of pancakes in the morning. I sat down at the table and Tomoe had already set the plates and forks all done. Tomoe then sat in his chair. I grabbed the syrup and I was about to put some on my pancakes before Tomoe started to talk."you shouldn't put too much because your going to gain more weight." he would always say those type of things I didn't really like it when he would say things like that because I couldn't tell if his serious or joking around. I didn't respond to his rude comment I just continued to pour the syrup on the pancake.
Tomoe pov-
"You shouldn't put too much syrup because your going to gain more weight." I chuckled to myself. I looked over at Nanami she didn't say anything she just stayed quiet and poured the syrup. It got awkward maybe I shouldn't joke around with Nanami like that. I felt a little sad I couldn't make Nanami chuckle or smile. In a way I felt sort of jealous of Sota. It was only 2 days since he met Nanami and they already had their inside jokes and I've known Nanami for about a year and we don't joke around a lot. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at the clock it was 10 a.m. I just continued to eat the pancakes and Nanami finished hers she got up and she placed the plates in the sink then she said she was going into her room.I finished my pancakes and then washed the plates. I was feeling more worried Nanami had the date at 3 p.m. and it was already 10:45 a.m. so we have a few hours left... I heard loud laughing from Nanami's room. I quickly ran to her room she was rolling on her floor laughing hysterically. Then I knew why she was laughing I saw the phone in her hand. She was probably texting Sota. I left the room not wanting to think of them. If Nanami was liked this then how would she be like on their date. She's probably going to be like an idiot.I must stop thinking of her and him. So I decided to do my familiar duties.when I had finished my duties I saw the time and it was 2:45 p.m. I walked to Nanami's room and she was in the bathroom putting on something called "makeup". I guess she was getting ready for the date. A few minutes passed and she came out in her outfit she was wearing yesterday and she was wearing her makeup. She looked beautiful. "Tomoe how do I look?" "um um.." my jaw dropped from her beauty. I couldn't speak. But I managed to say" it looks nice" "thanks Tomoe" not to long after the doorbell rang. "It most be Sota. Nanami went to the door and there he was it was Sota but he had something in his hands it looked like flowers. Oh they are flowers and roses to be specific. He had given them to Nanami while saying "here flowers for the lady to match her beauty." I noticed Nanami blush. Nanami handed me the flowers and told me to put them in a vase. Then I saw them going out the door but Sota's arm was around Nanami's shoulder and I could've sworn I saw him look back at me and smirk. I was furious how dare he touch her. Then Sota said don't wait up with a wink at the end. They left the shrine but I was not going to let myself be here while the two of them go on a date. I planned to spy on them. But I can't do it alone I need to call the tengu and the snake. I can't let Sota get close to Nanami...
