Evelyn's pov

I woke up again in the middle of the night breathing heavily "fuck again" I looked at my clock and it was 1:34am, I shrugged "I guess I can get some food" I moved and then I felt Jayy's arm around my waist "aw baby" I shook him "what the?" He asked "Baby can you let me go, I'll be right back okay?" He unwrapped his arm from my waist and smiled "be safe, Evelyn I don't want to loose you" I smiled and patted his butt "don't worry". I walked downstairs and I saw Dahvie holding a knife, as I turned around to walk back upstairs he stopped me "don't move"

I turned around in fear "What Dahvie?" Without looking around he groaned "come closer" I walked closer to him and he turned around "perfect" I started tearing up "stop" he commanded me to do and I did "I know your my sister, but since your my blood brother slave you'll have to" I cut him off "tell me why you killed Cody" he looked at me with hate "that's none of your business bitch" I snapped "Jesus David Torres you tell me why you killed my friend or else" he finally calmed down but looked at me with a killer look "you wanna know why? Because brothers look out for there sisters".

I shook my head "he's not a bad guy Dahvie well was" Dahvie slapped me "Why don't you go back upstairs and fuck your boyfriend again" I cried and ran back upstairs. I stopped in the bathroom and looked at myself as a red hand mark was engraved on my face "Oh fuck" I looked around and saw foundation and in my skin color "great" I covered up the mark and it stings but I decided to live with it. I walked back into my bedroom and saw Jayy sleeping all alone "what ever you do don't tell him" I said to myself, I laid back down and right alway he wrapped his arm around my waist. "I knew you'll come back" he whispered "I never lie to you baby"

The next day, I opened my eyes and looked around and I didn't see Jayy "Dahvie your so dead" I herd "oh fuck" I got up and looked into the mirror "wait, my makeup is still there" I walked downstairs and saw them playing a video game "oh thank god" I walked towards the kitchen.

I walked over to the kitchen and placed my hands on the sink, "why is life so hard?" I asked myself to my reflection in the water, I leaked a tear and then my reflection started talking.

"Don't cry slut" "What?" I said pulling away and then it laughed "what's wrong never looked in a mirror, oh wait if you did you'll see what your brother did to you" "shut up" I yelled slapping the water. "Silly Evelyn, I'll never leave I'll stay by you forever and ever" I grabbed a knife "stop it" I said stabbing the reflection "Evelyn what are
You doing?" Jayy said.

He pulled me away and I dropped the knife "She'll never leave" I cried and then Jayy, calmed me down "Shh, don't cry baby girl" he wiped my cheek and my makeup got on his hands "what?" He looked at my cheek and it was bruised "What happened?" He said. I pushed him out of the way and ran back upstairs "Evelyn!" He yelled chasing after me.

I locked myself in the bathroom and started crying "Evelyn?" I herd again as my door was kicked open "Why is your cheek bruised?" He asked me holding me down so I can't move "I can't tell you" I cried and Jayy shook me "tell me" and then it spilled "no than you'll kill your blood brother" he froze "Dahvie?" I shook my head and he played with my hair "yes, I asked him why he killed Cody and he just snapped"

He grabbed my chin "Evelyn, sweetheart don't ask him anything about that instead forget about Cody and move on" I shook my head and he hold me tightly. Later on that night I was looking over both Cody and my Moms grave, I got down and placed a rose "Rest in peace, you too" and then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Dahvie "Hey sis" I looked back at the grave and he sighed "Hi mom, I'm sorry I did this to you and Evelyn" I cried and then he wrapped his arm around me "I'm sorry, I didn't this I didn't mean to I was gonna talk to him and then he just snapped and I got angry and you know the rest".

I looked at Dahvie, "Your supposed to be my brother the one who protects me and not let anyone hurt me" he was pissed "I am, if I didn't kill that mother fucker you would have been dead and Jayy would be in prison" I shook my head. "Stay out of my Life Torres!" He rolled his eyes "You don't get it don't you, I'm sorry for killing your friend but I was protecting you"

I looked at him and walked away "I'm going to bed" "Wait Evelyn" he cut me off "Do you forgive me?" I looked at him "I'll forgive you when you see my Mother and Friend again"
