Evelyn's pov

I was sitting in bed with my hood up and tears running down my face "Evelyn, you need to eat" I looked at my feet and shook my head "I'm not hungry" he grabbed my chin and frowned "your thinner than you were last week babe" I shook my head "no I'm not Jayy I'm fine" he unzipped my hoodie and toke it off revealing my skin, he was right I'm a fucking skeleton "Please Baby I don't want to lose you" I looked at him and shook my head "Alright I'll eat just don't bring up you know who". I walked downstairs and everyone looked at me "Evelyn, your finally awake" Kelly said as I have been sleeping for 4 weeks and not punching and crying saying "it's my fault" for my brothers death, "yeah, good to see your out of bed kiddo" Sally said looking at my weak body. As I sat down playing with my food Jayy kept looking at me "What? Am I doing something wrong?" I asked nervous "No, it's just your not eating like you used to"

I looked at my plate and weakly smiled "I know Jayy, it's just since Dahvie died I've been a wreck" he froze "you've only known Dahvie for a month now, why is his death so depressing?" He asked worried "Because everyone in my life has left me, My Dad, My Mom, Dahvie, Even My unborn sister left me" he raised a eyebrow "Sister? I thought it was just You and well Dahvie". I turned and looked at him "my mother after we got jumped, she got pregnant and it was a girl I was happy but she wasn't" I started to cry "When my mother gave birth I asked why the baby isn't out yet and it's because the baby died inside of her"

I looked at Jayy and the rest "I'm sorry, I'll be going to bed" "wait Evelyn" Jayy said to stop me but it didn't work. I sat in my bed again crying starving myself until I toke off my clothes to get ready for a shower and that's when it hit me,
I was nothing but skin and bones until I felt a hand on my shoulder "Jayy you were right" I said as my face looked at the sink but as I lifted my head I saw Dahvie "Dahvie?" "Look at what your doing to yourself, your letting your demons win and it's killing you inside" I looked at his reflection "Your death is why I'm like this" he was shocked "my death, Evelyn that was in the past you should be happy now" he smiled "I mean you have Jayy and that's it, I should have kept my mouth shut and I won't be here" I turned around and looked at him "But I need you"

He shushed me "You don't need anyone, your a grown woman now and all you need is your middle finger and to say to the world don't mess with me world!" I smiled and then he looked at me "that's the Evelyn I've known" but then he disappeared and I could hear Jayy on the other side of the door "Evelyn, baby I'm sorry" I opened the door and he smiled but then frowned seeing my skin and bones "you see this, this is what is gonna kill you" I shushed him "Jayy I'm alright, okay I seen the demons and they'll no longer hurt me".

He smiled and reached out for my hand "come on let's get some more food", as we walked down Dahvie's words played in my head. But then after breakfast Jayy looked at me and grabbed my hand "come on" he toke me to the backyard and smiled "listen Evelyn, I know I've only known you for a month now and really I just wanted to do this before but" he smiled and pulled out a small box "will you marry me?" He asked on one knee.
