it was 12:00 am. you layed in your bed, thinking about your best friend... well your ex-best friend shawn mendes. yeah the popular dude in your school who some girls think hes a fuckboi, but you know, its what the rumors ruined your relationship with shawn. you would cry yourself to sleep, remembering the memories you two shared. how when he first started high school he was so shy. but he only knew you because you've known him since 4th grade.
you then heard your phone buzzing. the name appeared in white letters reading..

a slight smile came to your face and you picked up your iphone and swiped across the screen to answer the phone. you instantly knew it was shawn because he set his name as that.
"hello?" for some odd reason, your voice was very shaky.
"hey y/n, its shawn.. i dont know if you remember me but yeah.." he said in his cute voice.
his voice would always give you the chills.
"of course i remember you shawn, i would never ever forget you." you said fiddling with the end of your shirt.
"thanks," you could tell he was smiling. "is it okay if i could visit you? im pretty bored and i miss you like crazy." he said.
you blushed and smiled and replied with a simple "yes, yeah sure"
"alright, thanks. see you soon." he said.
"you too, byee"
"bye kitten"
you hanged up and he knew everytime he would call you that, you would blush like crazy and smile.

You got off your bed amd walked downstairs to the door.
you saw it was shawn amd you smiled.
"BESTFRIENDDDD" we both said running into each others arms, you jumped into them and smiled and closed your eyes.
you felt like you haven't felt this moment in so long.
