DeAndre's P.O.V.

"Grant me the strength to come into your gates...to be my sisters' guardian angel..." Those were the last words I heard Roshawntae speak. It was always like him to call on the Lord in his time of need. This is the man I've known my entire life. The one who picked me up when I was down. The one who I've saved time after time. The only man I'd give the shirt off my back to. My brother from another mother. Why'd it have to end like this? Tell me if I'm wrong but it isn't supposed to feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders is it? I mean I have to make everything right the first attempt I make. I have to protect lead and prepare his sisters. My sisters. My brother would've been my motivator then why not now? Everything is so real all of a sudden. I pull out my phone and call Roshawntae's house phone to see if both of the girls are there. Apollo picks up. "Hello?" "Hey Apollo is Artemis there with you?" "Yea..." "Good, I'm bout to swing by, I need to talk to yall." "About what? Where's Roshawntae?" "He wanted me to relay a message. I'll explain it a minute just open the gates I'm bout to pull up." I roll around the corner and pull through the gates. I get out my purple Mercedes Benz, Artemis picked it out last winter. I walk up the front porch with a heavy chest. I ring the doorbell and after a milli by Lil Wayne plays through its first verse, Apollo opens the door. "So what message was so important that you couldn't tell it to us over the phone? Or was that your way of coming over to see Artemis on the sly?"
