I opened the door to my hotel room, making my way over to my bed, grabbing my suitcase. I began picking my belongings up, throwing them into my suitcase randomly, not caring
about how neat it is.

"What're you doing?" Hayes asked, standing by the tv with a can of Mountain Dew in his hand. I held my hand out, silently asking for a drink.
He handed it over and I took a sip, handing it back and zipping up the suitcase. He took another drink, watching me as he held the can up to his mouth.

"I'm staying with AJ now that she's here, her parents gave her money for her own hotel room." He sputtered, bringing the can away from his
mouth, coughing slightly.

"What? No, we only have one day left here! Might as well stay here, we're leaving
early in the morning! I'm sure AJ won't mind if she stays by herself one night!" I gave him a weird look, why did he care where I stay?

"I guess I could stay here for the night..." I mumbled, watching him as I put my
suitcase down. He smiled triumphantly, walking out of the hotel room.

"I knew it!" A shriek sounded, and I screamed tripping over my suitcase and
falling back on my bed. AJ appeared from behind the other bed, a smile on her face.

"What the hell is wrong with wrong with you!" I hollered at her, my hand over my
heart.

"He's totally into you." She ran over to me, jumping on the bed.

I groaned, falling on my back and grabbing a pillow, shoving it over my face. "Not this again." It isn't true, he doesn't like me. I know he doesn't and he never will.

She grabbed the pillow, chucking it at the wall. Grabbing my hands, she pulled
me to sit up and my hair fell in my face. I sat there, pretending to be dead so maybe
she'd drop it. "Seriously, you're not dead." I sighed, sitting up and opening
my eyes, then crossing my arms and pouting. She narrowed her eyes at me, "Now,
you are going to stay here and you are going to bond with that attractive young
man or so help me I will kill you with my own two hands. Cam and I are going out,
and I heard Shawn is going swimming with Aaron and Taylor. You and Hayes
will bond, and that's the end of it."

"Yes ma'am," I gave her a salute and she smiled, standing up and making her
way to the door.

"Now, I'm gonna go get ready for my date with the sexy human being you call
your brother." She slammed the door shut, leaving me with my thoughts. A chill
ran up my spine and I leaned over the side of my bed, my legs still on but the rest
of me was hanging off. I went to open my suitcase for a sweatshirt. I stopped in
the middle of my movement with a sigh.

I forgot to pack a sweatshirt.

Hayes walked back into the room, giving me a confused look as I hadn't moved
from my spot. I was still hanging off the bed. "Uh...."

"I was looking for a sweatshirt," I told him, answering the question before he
asked. He nodded, moving to sit on the bed next to me. I sat back, crossing my
arms in hope it would keep me warm.

"No luck?" He asked, handing me my own Dr. Pepper. I shook my head,
telling him that I forgot one. He got off the bed, walking away to somewhere. I
was in the middle of scrolling through Twitter when he returned, handing me a
dark blue sweatshirt. His dark blue sweatshirt.

I hesitantly took it, looking up at him, my heart beat rising. "Are you sure?"

He smiled, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, go ahead. It'd look better on you anyways." A
blush rose to my cheeks and I smiled, slipping it on. The heat engulfed me and
his smile grew as he sat down next to me. "I was right."

The blush grew and I shoved him gently, "shut up."

"Can I ask you a question?" He asked me, turning to sit criss-cross across from
me. I nodded, turning to mimic him, my sweatshirt-covered hands in my sweatshirt.
He looked directly into my eyes.

"Who's Jackson?"
