*Kacey's POV*

As I was sneaking into my house after being out past curfew, I stepped on a squeaky toy and it was very loud. 'Shit' I muttered to myself.

"Kacey? Where were you?! Why were you out of the house this late?!" I sighed. Of course I was gonna get caught.

"I'm sorry, daddy. I was out with Bella and Lillie" I tried pulling my sweet innocent daughter voice but he saw right through me.

"I don't care who you were with! You're grounded! No leaving the house for 2 months!" What a great ending to the perfect day. So much for seeing Liam again.

"Alright fine, I'm going to bed" I rolled my eyes and started walking up the stairs. My phone vibrated in my pocket.

Thanks for a great night, I hope to see you again sometime

It won't be for a while, I got grounded for sneaking out :/

I laid down on my bed and sighed. I turned on the bedside lamp and pulled out The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton, my favorite book. I kept waiting for a response from Liam but I never got one. I looked at the clock and it was 2:30am. I decided I should try and sleep. I closed my eyes for about 5 minutes when there was a tapping at my window. I was actually kind of scared. I got up and opened my window to find Liam sitting in my cherry tree. "What the hell are you doing here?" I whisper yelled.

"You're grounded and I needed to see you again. So Zayn called Bella and she told me to come here"

"You're an idiot," I smiled at him and continued, "Now get in here before you fall" he climbed into my bedroom. I was nervous about having Liam in my house with my parents only a wall away. I got back into bed and turned the bedside lamp back on. Liam stood there for a while just looking around.

"It's very purple in here" he said quietly. I was thankful he wasn't being loud.

"I had always shared a room with my older sister and she liked purple" I whispered and snuggled deeper into my blankets. "You know, I could use a cuddle buddy" I smiled up at him. He laughed slightly and climbed in next to me. He wrapped his arms around my and held me close. His body was warm against mine. I fell asleep quickly to the sound of his heartbeat. I woke up the next morning alone. I was disappointed but still grateful that he came.

"Kacey! Your father and I are going to work! I expect you to stay at home and you can have 1 friend over and that's it!" mom yelled from the main floor.

"Okay, bye! Let me sleep!" I yelled back and looked at the clock. 1:00pm. I decided to get up and take a shower. I got out and decided to make some macaroni and cheese. I turned on the radio and got the pot out. My phone vibrated on the counter making me jump.

Are your parents home? I need to get out of my house nd the boys are busy

You're in luck, they just left and I'm allowed to have one friend over
