The invitations were being passed out. This was my chance at being cool, shedding my awkward self. As Missy approached Maya, Lucas, Farkle and I, she gave us all invitations, but I could see her hesitating when she came to me.
"This is going to be a hot party, if you know what I mean. I don't know if you can handle it, Riley."
She was calling me out? I'll show her.
"Oh I'll handle it better than you."
"Just wait, Matthews."
*at the party*
I had no idea what to wear, but since this was an obvious hook-up party, I went with a skirt, a button down shirt, and no bra. I didn't know what would happen, but I was excited.
I entered with Maya, Farkle and Lucas. Maya and I were twinning, of course, and Farkle and Lucas were wearing their usual clothes.
"Okay is everyone here?" Missy said
We responded with screams.
"Okay I'm going to pair everyone up. Yogi and Darby. Sara and Brendan. Jade and Dave." She continued blabbing until she got to the four of us. "Lucas and Maya. Farkle and Riley."
WHAT. I don't know how I'll survive in there with Farkle. The old Farkle, with turtlenecks and 2009 JB hair sure, but I don't know if I could do anything with this new Farkle. But what about Lucas and Maya? How could they possibly do anything?
