Venice is trying to hold back her tears.

4 years has passed, and now she's getting married to a guy she barely knew. She would make an effort to get to know him, for the sake of the marriage. But he's always not around, he studied abroad and is hands on with their business. Venice was ashamed on how he priorities his family's wish even if she found out he wanted to become a singer.

Both of their families' gave them a huge pay check to buy their own house and even have a say with the wedding planning. They made sure it'll look like a regular wedding, except it's not. Love isn't the foundation for this marriage, power is.

Because of that, she wanted to run away.

"Stop crying. You'll ruin your make up." Milan offered her handkerchief so Venice could wipe the few tears that dropped. "I'm sorry you have to go through this."

Milan gave Venice a tight hug.

"It's not your fault, moonlight." Venice whispered.

"Stop calling me that." Milan cringed at her childhood nickname. "I'll go ahead and go to the chapel. You look very pretty, big sis." Venice nodded thanking her.

Reporters are even here, witnessing as she walks down the aisle.

Everyone's calling it the wedding of the year. Gonzales and Tamoria join forces with the marriage of their two eldest children. Venice was shocked that they made sure to make people think that they're marrying for love. It's business, of course everyone knows that it's not about love. Why cover it up?

Venice faked a smile, she's used to faking a smile for the public ever since the engagement was announced 3 years ago and she started being the talk of the town. She didn't mind, in fact it helped with the publicity of the business she started with her friends and sister.

She marched her way until she faced her dad, she smiled as she wrapped her arms in her dad's arm.

"Ready, my princess?" Her dad asked. She nodded, not trusting her own voice. Because she wasn't ready, I don't think I'll ever be.

"My love, standing here before you is a man that will give you the galaxy if you asked him too. I look at you and know that my life is so close to being complete. If we may live in a different world, I'll do what it takes to find you." He said, reciting the vows we practiced. Venice didn't know what to think, Louven's vows sounded like he meant all of it. He's a good actor, no wonder he can stay in the business.

"Now for the bride." The Pastor said.

"My love, before I met you, I never truly felt alive. I know we had a lot of struggles in our relationship, but we have each other. You're my home." Venice cried reciting her vows, not because of happiness. The vows were fake to really make sure that people think 'they're marrying for love.'

"Do you support this union and affirm that these two should be married today?" The Pastor asked. Venice looked at the guests. So uhm, any objections?

"We do." The guests respond. So Venice hid her disappointment with a smile.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Louven, son. You may now kiss your bride."

Venice stared at Louven, and then to their families, waiting anxiously for them. This is the real signature of the contract. Louven watches as Venice grew uncomfortable with the situation and so he leaned in, not to her mouth but to her ears. "I'm not gonna kiss you, not until you tell me too."

Venice was silenced, staring in awe to the man in front of her. He's so considerate, she thought. Louven leaned in to her cheeks, kissing it softly. Venice smiled and as she leaned it to kiss him on the lips.

Collective sigh came from their families side. Venice didn't care what their families think, she looked at Louven smiling at her as he offered her his hand to hold.

Maybe this marriage is not so bad after all.
