Chapter 2

Sophie POV

Man am I tired. After the photo shoot, we went to a bunch of boring meetings and talked about boring crap. Then to top it off we had to go out to lunch with "important people" as Kate called them. I plopped onto my bed just about to close my eyes when Kate burst into my room. "Damn it Kate I was just about to fall asleep" I groaned.

"Well you won't be sleeping after I tell you this news hun" She had a smirk on her face that strangely made me want to listen.

"Ok Kate what is it" I said with a touch of excitment in my voice.

"Well I just got a call from someone's manager and they wanted you in their music video!"

"Wait who's manager?"

"That's the surprise. I'm not telling you, you will find out tonight when we go out to dinner with them"

"greatttt another boring dinner. yay" the sarcasm was just dripping from my words. I'm so damn tired I just want to sleep.

"Sophie I promise you'll like it just get ready and look nice. we are leaving in 2 hours"

Justin POV

After today's meeting I drove home and called Selena. We we are going out on a date tonight. We havent seen eachother in weeks with our busy schedules getting in the way so I was pretty excited. I dressed in black skinny jeans, a white v-neck, red supras, and a leather jacket. Perfect. while gelling up my hair I got a phone call from Scooter. "what's up man"

"Justin are you busy tonight?"

"yeah I'm-"

"doesn't matter because we have a dinner meeting to go to."

"what? why? you said I was free till next week!"

"yes that was until we got a call back from that girl... umm.. what's her name... oh yes Sophie. her manager called back and she's willing to do the video but we have to sign papers and what not so I thought it would be a nice way to get to know her if we went to dinner."

"do I have a choice?" I said blandly.

"nope. be ready in an hour, dress nice."

And with that he hung up. "Damn it now I have to cancel with Selena...." this was frustrating.

Sophie POV

*In the car with Kate*

"Can you tell me noww??" She still wasn't telling me and now I was annoyed. What if its some creepy guy I don't like?? what if I don't like what I have to do?? I have no say in it and that just pisses me off.

About 15 minutes later we arrived at a very nice restaurant. We walked in and the restaurant was dimly lit. how romantic. not. I was anything but happy to be here. At least I dressed nice. I wore a red dress that fell mid thigh and flowed while I walked. I decided to wear a shorter black heel because of my height. I'm so self concious of it. My hair was pin straight because its just easier that way and let's face it, I'm a very lazy girl.

The waitor led us to a private booth in the back. Jeeze who are we meeting, the president?

Justin POV

Scooter was trying to talk to me and I was giving him the silent treatment. Im supposed to be out on a date but instead I'm stuck here.

A waitor walked up to our table with two people following closely behind. I suddenly forgot all about my date tonight. I met eyes with a beautiful tall girl with long brown hair. Damn she is even more stunning in person. She had an uninterested look on her face. I gave her my signature smile and stood up to greet her. "Hi I'm Justin"

"Im Sophie." she stuck her hand out but I went in for a hug. She was surprised for a second but relaxed and hugged back. I pulled away and gestured for her to sit down next to me. She slid in the booth and I followed right after.

Sophie POV

Justin Bieber. Usually this name excited girls. Me not so much. He seemed cocky and full of himself. When he hugged me though.... I surprisingly liked it.

About half way through the dinner it was basically Scooter and Kate talking and signing papers. They occasionally asked me to sign something but other than that me and Justin were silent. We were both on our phones uninterested in eachother.

"Hey Sophie take a pic with me?"

"For...?"

"Twitter, don't worry haha"

He held out his phone and we posed for the picture both having a smile on our faces. it turned out pretty cute.

"So are you excited to shoot the video?"

I looked up from my phone and saw his chocolate brown eyes staring at me waiting for an answer.

"Uh.. ya I'm pretty excited its my first one"

"oh cool ! I'm sure you'll have fun"

Wow he wasn't that bad.

"I mean you are filming with the one and only Justin Bieber."

Anddd theres the cockyness. I rolled my eyes and went back to my phone.

We all finished our dinner and started to leave. "hey Justin and Sophie pose for a sec." Scooter asked while taking out his phone. We stood side by side and Justin slid his arm around my waist while Scooter snapped a few pictures.

While walking out me and Justin stayed close. There were mobs of paparazzi outside of the restaurant. instinctively I grabbed Justin's hand and he held onto it tight, both of us shielding our faces. This was definitely the worst part of fame.
