Chapter 3

Sophie POV:

The headlines were everywhere. The picture of me and Justin 'holding hands after a date' blew up and traveled around the world in less than a few hours.

'Has Justin Bieber moved on from the gorgeous Selena Gomez?'

'Who is this mystery girl?'

I've been getting death threats from the "beliebers" all morning and I find it quite comical. People will accuse you of anything if the tabloids say it's true.

My phone rang with an unknown number. I answered it anyways.

"Hey are you ok?" Justin's voice rang through the phone.

"Ya dude I'm fine" I said with a chuckle.

"What's so funny?" I guess he doesn't find this as funny as I do.

"Nothing... How are you and Selena? I'm sure you've got the worst of it."

"Selena.... She's pissed. She doesn't believe me when I tell her that we just met that night to discuss business.. She uh... She told me that we needed a break.."

"Oh god.. I'm so sorry! This is all my fault!"

"No no don't worry about it. Everything happens for a reason, right?" His voice broke at the end of his sentence. I honestly feel so bad. "So I gotta go I'll talk to you later" and with that he hung up.

-later in the day-

Kate convinced me to come out of my seclusive cave of a room and go out to lunch with her. I guess I needed it.

"So those headlines are uh pretty interesting..." I said sarcastically.

"Any publicity is good publicity when it comes to this industry Soph. You should be celebrating."

"That's so wrong. They way that works that is. One small thing happens and the whole world blows up in chatter." I was starting to yell unintentionally. "I can't talk about this right now."

We left the restaurant and surprise surprise, there were paps waiting out side.

"SOPHIE WHERES JUSTIN"

"ARE YOU TWO DATING"

"DONT YOU FEEL GUILTY THAT YOU RUINED A HAPPY RELATIONSHIP"

That was the last straw. These accusations were getting out of hand and I've had it. "Listen you bottom feeders!! I didn't not RUIN their relationship! We were at a BUSINESS meeting and that was IT! So leave me and justin alone and get a damn life!!"

I jumped into my car and drove off in tears. This kind of pressure reminds me of my parents. They always yelled at me...

Justin POV:

I flipped on the TV and saw footage of Sophie telling the paps off. To tell the truth, I wanted to just give her a hug. I decided to text her.

J: hey you ok?

S: you saw the news didn't you

J: ya, good job btw, I didn't know you had it in you ;)

S: oh you haven't even seen me yet haha

J: oh really? Well I'll be waiting haha

S: give it a week :P

J: hey so since we are filming soon, do you wanna hangout and get to know each other a little?

Did I just say that...

S: Just look me up online

S: just kidding ;) ya tomorrow work?

J: ya see you then, Sophie :)

S: talk to ya tomorrow justin:)
