I was walking home with Riley when sun-dance and Farkle walked up and went with us.It felt so strange to be the one walking right next to Lucas. I figured he'd want to walk with Riley. "Where are we going?" They finally asked. "Oh we're going to my house then meeting up with Zay at Topangas." I exclaimed quickly. They both exchanged estranged looks and then ran up to catch me and Riley. "Who do you think all of us will end up with?" Lucas asked. I was confused. "What do you mean hop-along?" "I mean in the far, or near future who do you think will end up dating who?" "well" I said "I have know idea why don't you ask you're friend Riley who you should be walking with not me." This time I was literally fighting against Lucas walking next to me partly due to the fact that 1.)he never walks next to me b.)Riley obviously likes him even though they broke up 3.)I definitely don't have feelings for ranger rick.... And d.)I don't like him at all at all okay , well maybe , no , yes?i have no idea, yet . "I think that maya will be with Lucas and Zay will be with Riley." Farkle said carefully ."why do you think that?" I asked scared but mad at the same time. "I don't know just a weird vibe I was picking up." "Well put that vibe back because that's never gonna happen minus."We got to my house and I told Riley , Farkle and Lucas to go on ahead and that I'd meet them at Topangas . They all agreed but wanted one person to stay with me just I case because of my neighborhood. I bluntly said yes. " I can do it" Riley said . "You can't, you're mom Is expecting you there in , now it's 12 min. You have to get there or she'll get worried." "Okay then it's Farkle good bye Riley and luc- huckleberry." "Maya I can't stay either me and Riley need to get there. Our parents are waiting to see us. It's gonna have to be Lucas." Fine , what ever who cares  . Not me? "Ugh fine" I groaned. "Good" Riley and Farkle said in unison.  "Bye guys we'll see you there later." Me and Lucas said in more perfect unison than them . Not that it mattered. "So what do you have to do?" "I'm getting a tick-bath right now obviously but it's clear that the tick won't leave so I'll just do that later and now I'll do that other thing I have to do.?" I was nervous when I made fun of him this time. "Okay first of all you cant just make fun of me and not expect me to get angry second what's with the questioning sound in your voice?" He was starting to get it. I was scared for a second but tried not to show it. "Come on Lucas lets go I'm done." "What do you mean your done?" His voice started rising and I thought he was going to start throwing the pillows from my couch. "I'm okay I'm just done with what I had to do Jesus your yelling so loud, lower your voice we can leave now let's go." He didn't budge. "Maya I'm not leaving." "Yeah yeah sure you've said that so many times befo- wh...what?" "Yeah I'm staying here for you, with you." Lucas was acting weirder than before and I was getting scared for him because I liked him kinda. "Lucas what are you doing?" "Maya can I like you?" "What is that a question or are you trying to tell me something?" "I think I....maybe like you.? I.is that okay?" "Sure I guess but don't expect me to like you back." "Do you maya.?" "No!....well kinda sort of.?" It felt so hard to admit but yet I felt so much better. "Maya Penelope hart will you go on just one date with me?" "Sure ranger Roy!" I was so happy.... 💭💬
