Newt's [POV]
"Bye Newt! C ya later!"
"Be safe Maxine!"
"As usual!"
As I went back to doing my job, I was wandering if Maxine could make it back. I was so worried for her the day she became a runner and after she had come in contact with a griver. She was nearly stung and luckily Minho killed the griver right on time. If not I have no reason to live in this world anymore. She was my life, my everything. I could not live without her.

[Maxine's POV]

Oh god not again, another griver. Oh my god, Maxine run,run! I run as fast as my leg could carry me. Suddenly I feel a sharp pain feeling my body. My vision got blurred and my world turn black. "Maxine!Maxine! Omg where are you?" Minho's sound make me woke up. The pain went off but my vision was still blurred. "There you are Maxine! I was looking for you! Are you alright? You look so pale." "I'm fine Minho. I get back to the glade soon."

I took my time to reach the glade. It was almost the time when the doors close. I saw newt and I started the run. I ran as fast as I could and reach the glade but I failed to stand. The pain came back and it was hurting painfully.
"Maxine! What's wrong? Don't tell me you got stung!"
"Sorry Newt. I got stung. I'm so sorry. Newt please don't cry. I'm not wanting to go through the changing. So please kill me."
"You know I can't do that right."
"Just please Newt."
Newt took out his knife and clutch it in his hands. I hold his hand and push it towards my chest. I scream together with Newt who was already crying in sadness.
"Maxine, stay don't leave"
"I love you Newt. Remember me"
"I'll remember you"
"I...love...you..." That was my last word and my world black out

[Newt's POV]

No no way she's dead. Her chest is not moving. Oh god.
"No........ Why? Why her? She is the only thing I have!"
