I'll hide from you (Harry Styles)

Chapter one.

I was watching them from a few meters away, hidden behind a bush.

It was in the middle of winter, so the leaves were frosted and the grass covered with a blanket of white snow.

I curled my fingers deeper into my coat pocket, curious as to what they were doing out by the lake.

The lake had a thin layer of ice resting on top of deadly freezing water.

I peeked through the leaves and watched as Harry and the rest of the boys were talking.

I was a shy girl. I didn't talk to a lot of people, other than close friends and family.

When boys looked at me I always felt self conscious and uncomfortable.

Suddenly Jacob, one of the boys, took off his top and I heard the rest of the boys 'whoop' except for Harry who looked annoyed.

"Well com'on Harry, don' be a pussy" Jacob yelled.

The boys all "yeah"ed and "come on"ed to Harry, who had his head down as if he was thinking hard.

Then Harry said something, but it was quiet. a whisper.

"Sorry? say that again, pussy?" Jacob yelled, as the boys snickered.

"I said Alright! I'll Do It!!" Harry yelled back at him.

Jacob smirked as he rolled his hand into a fist, that was cold red from the winter temperature.

Harry started unzipping his jacket, and I heard it thump onto the lake dock.

Then he took off his shirt and- woah, shit! he looked good...

Wait! Shit!

I suddenly realized what was happening.

He was gonna jump into the lake.

They're making him jump into the lake!!

I panicked as harry stood on the edge of the dock breathing in deeply, preparing to jump.

"Harry! No!!" I yelled as I ran out of the bushes, onto the dock and into his arms.

He was shocked for a second, but quickly composed.

"Alice, what are you doing here?!" harry seethed in my ear.

"I was worried, so I followed you,....please don't do it" I mumbled into his chest.

I felt him sigh and he was about to say something but Jacob spoke up instead.

"Haha, look its pussies wittle bwestfwend" he said in a baby tone, mocking me.

"Don't talk about her like that!" Harry shot at him, holding me closer to his side.

"Oh, I'm sowwy... hey, I have an idea, why doesn't wittle Alice go for a swim?" Jacob turned around, seeing approved faces from the other boys.

I suddenly got scared, gripping onto Harry. (who is still shirtless, might I add)

"ooh, that's a great idea, isn't it Alice? don't you wanna go for a swim?"

Jacob asked me.

"Jacob, no! Whatever you're thinking, just no!" Harry yelled.

"Alice, tell him how much you wanna go for a swim" I kept quiet and hid my face in Harry's chest.

They all started creeping forward towards me. Harry tightened his arm around me. "okay, Haha, guys its very funny, now stop"

but they didn't listen to him.

"Aww com'on harry, just a little splash of water won't do her any harm"

Harry got furious "Jacob, if you think you're so much as even gonna touch her then I swea-" But harry got cut off as one of the boys suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me out of Harry's grasp.

"Harry!!!!"

"Stop It!! Your Scaring her!!"

"Haha, let's go swimmmiiinngg!!"

"No!No!No! harry!!!"

Harry was trying to get to me but the boys kept pushing me around the group.

Jacob suddenly grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder.

Harry ran towards me but the boys pulled him back and held him.

I was crying now.

I was so scared.

"H-Harry.." I whimpered.

"Shy, don't cry.. i wont hurt you" Jacob said as he put me down in front of him and turned around to face the boys that were all holding a struggling harry.

"Harry, harry, harry... always gotta be the gentleman don't ya...., well I'll be the gentleman now..." Jacob declared.

Harry looked confused for a second, until Jacob smirked.

"Ladies first"

I was suddenly pushed back into the air.

"No! Jacob, stop!!" I heard harry yelling, but it was too late.

The ice cracked and broke beneath my fall and I plunged into the icy, cold lake.

I squirmed under the water, trying to get to the surface as fast as possible, but my coat was dragging me down.

I panicked, trying to undo the buttons but my fingers were freezing up fast.

The last of the air I had been in my mouth escaped and flew to the surface in a bubble.

I finally got my coat off, but I couldn't move my legs.

They were too cold.

I drifted slowly down.

Suddenly another body plummeted into the water and started swimming down towards me fast.

Harry.

He grabbed me by my waist, and kicked furiously to get to the surface.

He climbed onto the dock and pulled me up.

My teeth clattered as I lay, shaking, on the dock.

"HELP!" Harry yelled.

The boys must've run off.

Harry put his arms around me, putting me in his lap, and rocking me back and forth.

he rubbed up and down my arms, as my eyes started to close slowly.

"Help! Please! somebody please help!!" harry cried out as tears ran down his cheeks.

"Please" he whispered.

"Alice, Alice, stay awake, I n-need you t-to stay awake" harry started stuttering as his body shook from the cold.
