CHAPTER 2: Welcome home! Now go to school
>> Eva <<
The best way to spoil a perfectly nice morning is definitely to wake up to your alarm blaring.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
"Shut up!" I screamed, blindly reaching out to hit the snooze button. But for some reason the stupid clock seemed to be moving away.
"What the-" I reached further and further and a bit more and-
"Oomph!"-
And that folks is the second best way to spoil your already-spoilt morning : landing on your ass after falling off the bed. But you haven't even heard the best part. There in front of me were my darling best friends and sister, holding cameras to my face and not to mention my alarm clock, laughing shamelessly .
"Feeling comfortable Evie?" Siri giggled.
"Oh yeah, the floor's mighty comfy!" I replied, my voice oozing sarcasm.
"I'm sure."
"Yeah? And you know whose going to be compfy when I get my hands on you?"
"Well certainly not your ass!" Scarlett cut in, then burst into another fit of giggles.
"Shut it." I grumbled, getting up. "And get out of my room before I make you."
Thankfully they left me this time, albeit laughing. Groaning, I got up and walked to my closet to pick out something to wear to school.
Ugh. School. A bloody brilliant welcome back, don't you think? You come home after eight years and they are like - Welcome back! Now do to school.
At least I missed a month. I thought to myself looking into my now-filled closet. Yesterday all of us, that is , Me, Ella , Scarlett and Siri, put all our things back into their places and, fortunately, no clothes folding. All of my clothes were hung up on hangers inside.
And now I can't decide what to wear.
"Oh what the heck." I mumbled, pulling out my lucky dress. It was black with huge white stars all over it and reached a few inches above my knees.
"First day, better have as much luck as I can get." I muttered under my breath, "Even if it is from a dress." With that settled I threw the dress on the bed and went to take a nice long shower.
I washed my hair with my favorite chocolate flavored shampoo, and no Ella I never tasted it before and don't plan on either, but dear god it smelt good enough to.
After I got out, I changed and I shrugged on my trusty cropped leather jacket then stuffed an empty notebook into my one shoulder-bag, hunting for my cell phone, I threw that it too and jogged downstairs.
"I'm home bitches!" I called as I entered the kitchen. "Yum! What is that smell?"
"As you can see," Siri pointed out dryly," They are blueberry waffles."
I ignored her tone and plopped onto a seat and dug into my delicious looking waffles.
I moaned. "Sweet baby Jesus! This is heavenly."
Ella snorted. "Any type of food for you is heavenly."
"Nuh-uh!" I shook my head "I hate mushrooms!"
"Okay, except mushrooms."
"And quiche."
"And quiche." She rolled her eyes.
"And-"
"Okay!" Scarlett yelled, "We get it, you don't like every type of food!"
I stuck my tongue out at her.
