"Hey M-Mike? The costume won't zip up in the b-back..."
Jeremy made a motion to the back of his Sailor Moon outfit, which hung open a bit due to the unzipped zipper. Mike sighed, walking over and beginning to, slowly but surely, pull the zipper up.
"Y-you sure it looks okay?" Jeremy smoothed down the slightly short skirt.
"It's fine, Jere." Looks cute, Mike thought, though he didn't say it out loud.
As soon as he got Jeremy's costume zipped up, he grabbed the wig from the table and put it on Jeremy's head. He'd never really understood the whole anime thing, but it made Jeremy happy, so he'd actually gotten through a few Sailor Moon marathons. Enough to know a good amount about it, anyways.
"I-In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" Jeremy posed, and Mike smiled. He adjusted his own costume, fiddling with the boards around his head and picking up the dull axe.
"Here's Mikey!"
Jeremy screamed a bit in surprise, then laughed.
Meanwhile, in the next room over, Vincent was watching as Scott put on his costume, which was Peter Pan, complete with a sewn-on shadow and green hat with a red feather. Vincent messed with the glittery yellow skirt of his Tinkerbell dress. He was enthusiastic about this tricks-or-treats thing, of course. But he felt like Scott didn't share the same excitement.
"I still can't believe you insisted on being Tinkerbell." Scott playfully swatted at the now-blonde bun atop Vincent's head.
"Yeah, heh..."
