Split Up

The animatronics had split up for multiple reasons. Firstly, they wanted to cover the most ground they could and get the most candy. Secondly, it would decrease their chances of getting caught. And thirdly, it would allow the known admirers and couples some alone time out of the restaurant.

And as such, the groups were as follows: Foxy and Mangle, Freddy and Bonnie and Chica, their Toy counterparts in the same pairing, and Marionette and Springtrap and Golden Freddy.

Foxy and Mangle prowled the streets of the north side, collecting candy quickly by running from house to house across the street. In Foxy's case, it wasn't very easy, as children were clinging to his costume, talking about how he was a real pirate and how his sword was really cool. He didn't want to shake them off, so he marched over to Mangle with kids attached to his coat.

"M, help."

Mangle smiled. Her first nickname. She, of course, wasn't counting "freak" or any of the other "nicknames" she'd been given.

As such, she detached a child from the handle of Foxy's sword and two from his coattails. She set them down and shooed them over to their parents.

"Thanks, lassie."

"My pleasure."

She gave a little salute, which caused Foxy to laugh briefly, and the two began walking again. Eventually, Mangle reached towards Foxy's hand, trying to hold it. He didn't seem to notice.

Meanwhile, on the south side, Marionette was all alone as Golden Freddy and Springtrap walked next to each other. The two golden companions were dressed as Elsa and Anna, for some reason. Of course, people gave them weird looks when they saw the two men in dresses, but they really couldn't seem happier.

"Having fun up there?" Marionette yelled, unable to hide the snark in his voice.

"Yep!" They were oblivious.
