I began to hear beeping and dripping, I tried to listen for other sounds but I couldn't. I felt soft pressure on both my hands and my right leg. I could smell what I assumed to be cleaner but I couldn't see anything, at least not right away. Slowly, very slowly, light began to regester with my eyes, it was bright and blinding light.

Even without all my senses I began to think of possible places I could be. I knew I was out of the basement, but where? Maybe I was in a hospital, that sounded right, that means I was found, that Jake andd Justin couldn't hurt me anymore. I guessed it was my dad and Tristan holding my hands, I knew I was smiling.

"Are you awake, baby girl?" My dad asked.

I could finally see, my dad was looking at me with hollow eyes, I looked slightly to my right and I saw Tristan with the same hollow eyes. They both looked tired, anxious and scared.

"Daddy, Tristan," I said softly.

"How are you baby girl?" my dad asked.

"Tired, sore, thirsty," I replied.

"Well, here's a glass of water," Tristan said and handed me a plastic cup.

"Thank you," I replied.

I siped it slowly because it burned my throat, I have obviousally been out for a while. When I finished the water I gave the cup to Tristan and now I needed to ask them what happened because I was out cold.

"How long was I out?" I asked.

"Almost a week, and we haven't left your side yet," Tristan replied.

"How much damage did they do?" I asked.

"You lost a lot of blood... one off them cut you... you almost died," My dad began to weap.

"Daddy, shh... I'm alive, right infront of you. Please don't cry, because I'll start crying," I said holding back the tears that were welling up in my eyes.

My dad reached up and hugged me tightly. I began to pat his back and relax him. I had never seen my dad so emotional since my mom died eight years ago. My mind began to wander to my mom but ended up being directed to JJ and Uncle Matt.

"Dad, what does JJ know?" I asked.

"Only that your hear, he doesn't understand anything else," he replied.

"Okay, can someone bring him to visit me?" I asked.

"Absolutly," my dad replied.

"I'll text my dad, let him know you're awake and to bring JJ," Tristan said and pulled out his phone.

"Daddy, can you go see how much longer I have to stay? or at least how long until the needles can come out of my arm?" I asked.

"Of course, I'll be right back baby girl," he replied.

"Tristan, what dose my dad know? Has he asked why you've stayed all week?" I asked, getting worried.

"He said that the first time we saw you in here that he saw how much I cared for you in my eyes. He said it reminded him of how he used to look at your mom. So he knows I-I," Tristan stumbeled over his last few words.

"You what?" I asked.

"How much he loves you," my dad said from the doorway of my room.

"Oh," I said softly, I was at a loss for words.

"I'm such a fool," Tristan said and put his head in his hands.

"No you're not, I-I l-lo-love you t-too," I said.
