Chapter 1

Dear Corazon,
Right now I am at the bus stop. My parents are going to send me out of state to finish my 3 years of high school. But I am running away. I am sorry for getting us caught so the best thing is that I should go. I love you so much amor, your the best thing that has ever happened to me. I need you more than ever right now to kiss you for the last time and hug you for the last time. I know running away isn't the best solution that there is but its the only one that will work. Please, please , please don't try to find to amor and don't run away cuzz if you do my parents will think that we ran away together. I don't want anything bad happening to you. I hope one day you forgive me for doing this. Te amo con toda mi vida Nicolas. I hope I get to see you again, so I could hear I love you again from you. I am srry...

I went across the street and put in in the mailbox so it could be mailed to Nicolas. I felt terrible for doing this, I cant explain it in words. I returned back to the bus stop I wanted to go somewhere new where no one knew me. I got on the bus to Los Angles and started listening to music. As I sat there waiting for the bus to leave, I remembered all the memories I had here in Patterson. How much I would miss my friends and family but although it wasn't far away I hope no one would find me. Finally the bus started I was starting to reject being here but I didn't do anything. Then the song Because you loved me by Celine Dion, I felt tears coming down my cheeks and I felt bad. That was our song. I fell in a deep sleep minutes later thinking of what I was going to do when I got to LA.

The next day we arrived at LA, I got off the bus since I only carried my backpack I didn't't have to wait in line for the luggage and started to look for a McDonald's's . I walked a coupled blocks until I found it, I ordered and sat down. I pulled my phone out and saw that I had 25 messages on messenger from my friends and my bf. I heard my order number called, I put my phone away and got my breakfast. I thought that if I was going to stay in LA I needed a job and a place to stay. I finish and started to find a job.

~ On the other side of town~
" Ulises your gonna be late for school !!", Santiago shouted across the half. Matheo was getting ready for work and was making a quick breakfast.
" Hold up I am coming", Ulises shouted back as he ran towards the kitchen.
Ulises stayed up late writing his first song and thought if his audience would like it. Matheo had all ready left to work at 4 in the morning. They ate their breakfast quickly then ran to school and to work. Santiago worked part time at gas station and at a smoking shop. Santiago got to the gas station and started opening the doors and made sure that the gas truck had pumped gas late night for the cars to use.
" Shoot I didn't do my math hw, Matheo is gonna be pissed" Ulises mumbled to himself as he got to school. He walked to the front office to get a tardy slip in order to go to his first period class. Luckily when he got to class he noticed that they had a substitute teacher. During the whole class time Ulises finish his math hw and thought of his song.
" Should it be about love, life, about me, my brothers?" he thought to himself.
