I was sitting in the back of moms mini-van listening to Emperor's New Clothes by Panic At the Disco on my iPod shuffle while she was inside Cvs. My mom took to long inside so I took a nap.
I woke up about 30 minutes later and sat up and said "What's for dinner?" And I never heard a man scream so terrified before that he scared me. He calmed down and asked who I was. I said "you first and why are you in my moms car?!?" He said still freaked out "Look kid, I just robbed the Cvs that this car was parked at and I stole this mini van because it'll look less suspicious to the cops unaware that you was in the back." "YOU'RE A THEIF?!??!? IS MY MOM OK?!??! WHERE ARE WE?!?!? WHO A-" "CHILL OUT KID!!!! DAMN YOU ASK TO MANY QUESTIONS" "So answer my questions" "FINE!!! I will! My name is Kevin, I'm a mechanic in debt, and you're mom is ok and I'm sure she is very worried about you as I'm thinking of what to do with you and we're at Newberry can you not tell?" "What do you mean when you said thinking of what I'm gonna do with you and no I can't tell, I'm blind." He stopped the car immediately when I said I was blind and told me to get out. He helped out and he recognized me. He panicked really badly and said "YOU'RE THE DAUGHTER OF THE OWNER OF APPLE!!!" "Yea. I am. So?" "SO?? Where's your iPhone, iPad or iPod?" "I only have a ipod and it's inside the van. Why?" "Imma break it so we don't get traced" "NOOO"
I was too late. I heard the crack of him breaking my iPod and I started to tear up. "I thought you was blind, how did you know I broke it?" "I'm not deaf dumbass!! I heard you break it!!" "Oh..." I can tell that Kevin feels bad now just how he said oh. "Well it was for our own good" "GOOD FOR WHO?!? YOU?!? WHO FUCKING SAID I WANTED TO BE WITH YOU??? YOU KIDNAPPED ME!! IM FURIOUS RIGHT NOW!! YOU'RE LUCKY IM BLIND!" "Look...I'm sorry. This will be over soon, I promise, I won't do anything to you..." There was silence between us two. He says "How about we get in the car and something to eat? I mean if you don't want to you'll just be here no knowing where to go or who to trust" I mumbled "I barely trust you but ok" He took me to get food and ice cream. Before I got a bite of my ice cream, sirens surrounded us and a voice talking through a megaphone "Put your hands where we can see them and on your knees" I got on my knees and dropped my icecream and put my hands on my head because I didn't know if they was talking to both of us or him. I heard handcuffs cuff on Kevin my kidnapper and him screaming "I didn't do it" i don't know why he's lying because I'm the evidence. Over the sirens and Kevin screaming i hear my dads voice saying my name. I have never smiled so big and hugged him so tight but I had to ask him "How did you find me?" He answered "we saw your face on the traffic cameras in the car and luckily we got the license plate and traced it to this location" I hear my mom saying "Oh my I'm so glad my sweetie is ok" in the distance and let's just say...I've never been hugged so tight by my mother. We went home and on the way home I told them everything that happened but sadly is still had to go to school the next day...
