Staring at my dull, black and White cupboard I sighed. Reaching into my draws I pulled out a pair of black jeans, and my favourite grey leopard print scarf. I pulled a White tee over my tangled head of hair, and put a simple black cardigan on as well. I curled my hair so it was almost ringlets. Slipping my white fedora on, I walked out the door, slipping on black platforms and grabbing my (fake) gucci bag.
I drove to the shopping centre and walked towards Pipper, my best friend who was sitting at our favourite coffee shop, texting like a maniac. I laughed and she got up. She was wearing a cute Pinky orange dress, to floral and girly for me, but cute as a button on her. A hugged her then twirled her around, smiling at how the edges of the skirt ruffled against the chair. Laughing we sat down and she shoved her phone in her bag. We chatted lightly for a while, when our order came.
Sipping on my organic green tea and nibbling on some almond short bread, I tried to stifle my laughter as Pipper flirted with the college boy at the register. After coming back to sit down, she looks at me and smiles.
"He was so into me." she says tossing her hair over her shoulder.
"Oh, yeah suuureeee" I said sarcastically, knowing she knew it to.
"Psh, your just jealous I can get a guy and you" She paused, adding a dramatic effect, pulling her maincured finger up to me "Cant." Glaring my eyes I argued back.
"I can so get a guy. I just choose not to waste my time on the STD ridden, hormonal teenage baffoons at our school." I said matter of factly.
"Really. Then why, dare I ask have you not dated since seventh grade, when we were all devilishly innocent and had no idea of the real world?" She asked, inspecting her nails.
"Because unlike some people, I plan to have a life once I leave school and don't want to spend my life as a prositute." I knew it was low, but Pipper had a reputation and she had been called much worse.
"Prove it then" She said looking up, annoyed at me. Cant imagine why {read know exactly why}
"What?" I asked, I knew this was a challenge and a Challenge I can't refuse.
"It's our last year of high-school. Were eighteen, young, free and georgeous." she stated.
"and?.." I was into it, I was intrigued, what was she on about?
"Look, me and Cassie are going clubbing tonight. Come with us and prove to me that you can actually maintain a serious realationship."
Sitting back down I looked at her confused.
"What are you suggesting?" I was totally hooked.
"We go clubbing, find a cute, straight, single guy and you get three weeks to steal his heart and make him fall in love." She tilted her head, asking, no, daring me to say no.
"Fine." I said "But you have to pay for my outfit and if the guys a keeper, I get to keep him"
"Deal" She said, nodding her head. We stood up and popped a tip in the jar before leaving the cafe and shopping.
