CHAPTER TWO: SOHINKI

Mari storms into the office with five boxes stacked on top of each other and drops them down on top of one of the tables. "I thought that you guys might want some pizza."

Everyone except me and Mari get up and walk to the pizza boxes. Instead, she sits down at her desk, and pulls out one extra box, seperate from the others. "Here. I know you like this kind," she says as she hands me the box.

I open the lid to reveal my all time favorite pizza. "Thanks, Mari. What about you?"

"Oh, I ate a couple slices before I handed them the boxes," Mari says and I laugh.

After we're all done eating our pizza, we get back to work. Lasercorn, Joven, Wes, and I record some Grand Theft Smosh for a couple hours, and then Wes starts to edit the footage.

After we upload the video, I sit back at my desk. "Hey Mari, would you want to be on the next GTS?" I ask.

Her bright smile slowly begins to fade. "Sure, that'd be great."

I stare at her for a long moment before answering. "Hey, you okay?"

Mari looks at her computer screen then back at me. "I don't want any of you guys worrying or feeling sorry for me."

I put a reasurring hand on her shoulder, but I want it to mean something more. "You want to go somewhere private?"

I finally see a smile on Mari's adorable face. "Yeah, that sounds good."
