We arrive at the club close to 10. We all step out of the van, and walk up to the bouncer.
Mari walks up to the bouncer. "Hello, we have a reservation and VIP pass."
"Under what name?" he asks.
"It should be Takahashi." Mari says.
The bouncer shaffles through the papers attached to his clipboard." Let's see here.. yep, here it is. Is this your party?"
Mari looks behind her. "Yep."
"Okay then, step inside and follow Stephen to your booth. You have a nice night now, miss. Don't let anyone ruin it, alright? There's an abundance of pervs in the place."
"Of course, thank you," Mari says as she steps into the club.
We all step in the entrance. Colored lights and and loud upbeat music fill the club, besides all the dancing or drunk people.
Mari walks up to a man wearing a floral t shirt, skinny jeans, suspenders, and ray bans. "Hi, are you Stephen? My name's Mari Takahashi, and the bouncer out front said that you could lead us to our booth."
"Oh yes, Mrs. Takahashi, right this way," He says as he leads off towads the back of the club.
"Uh, Mrs.?" she asks.
Stephen stops and turns around. "Oh, I'm sorry, you're not married to him?"
I see Mari blush. "Oh no, we're together, just not..married."
I walk up to Mari and pull her close. "Not yet, anyways," I say to him, turning to her and winking.
Her blush becomes even more red than ever.
Oh boy, this is going to be fun.
