Another chance

finally some peace within me. the words repeat over and over in my head. "i'm in love with you." i can't believe she finally said it. to be honest, i never thought she say it. now i definitely have a shot at winning her back. maybe i could get her to take me back this summer. every summer my parents stay in georgia. so, i'm going to use this summer to get eri back. she knows i love her, and now i would do anything to get her. my friends advice still floats through my head though. so even if i fail at getting her, i want her to know i will wait for her. for as long as it takes.

too bad my parents are letting me down and messing up my plans. turns out this year, we are gonna spend the summer in california and only spend the rest of may in georgia. ugh. this sucks. well, i still plan on seeing eri. it was a long drive up to georgia. i traded in my car for a motorcycle and i even brought it with me.

we arrived in georgia that saturday afternoon and i didn't get a chance to see eri until sunday afternoon. my aunt agreed to cover for me. my parents had places to be and wanted to hang with some friends so they stuck me with my aunt. my aunt was so awesome. she delivered all of my girts to eri so we both could keep our relationship a secret.

when i got to eri's house my heart started to skip a beat again. when she opened the door to see me, she gave me a huge hug. i hugged her back. i wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her up. then i kissed her. she kissed me back.

"i missed you." i said and then i kissed her again. i put her down and then she said she missed me to. she closed the door and we both went upstairs to the upstairs living room. it still looks the same except the gutitar case was gone. i guess she put it somewhere else. i sat next to her on the couch.

"what are you doing here?" she asked with a smile on her face.

"i came to see you of course. like every summer. but there is a problem.."

"what is it?" a little concern in her voice

"we are gonna be in georgia until thursday. then we go back to florida. then that monday after we leave for california. we are gonna spend the summer there."

"how long you staying in cali?"

"until august 1st" then she started to smile again.

"what?" i said

"i'm gonna be in cali in july for some family trip." she started to laugh. ok, now i started to laugh. maybe my summer will be fine.

"that's awesome." we started talking and man did we enjoy that day. she told me how her last day of school went and then she started telling me about one of her friends. in fact one of them started texting her.

carter was another one of eri's best friends. carter was some girl who eri talks to whenever me and her are having problems. it was starting to get a little annoying.

"can you stop texting for like two minutes."

"sorry." as soon as she put her phone down it buzzed again. i immeadiatly grabbed it.  she then tackled me for it.

"give me my phone!" she yelled. then an idea popped in my head. i started to text carter myself.after i sent the message i put the phone where she couldnt get to it. on the door frame. since she's shot she can't get to it.

"i'll give you your phone, if, you take a break for five minutes." she looked at me and then her phone buzzed again causing it to fall. me and her both looked at the phone then each other then i quickly grabbed it and put it in my back pocket. she pushed me to the ground and had me on the floor. she was on top of me.

"give me my phone!"

"never." then she gave me her i'm mad at you face.

"you know your cut when your mad." then she hit me on my shoulder again. i used my free hand to get the phone. she took it and read the message then she handed it back to me.
