Chapter 4
It was a blessed Sunday, as today was church day. I changed into my best Sunday dress that was a floral white dress, a pair of doll shoes, and a small pink purse, and walked to church.
"Peace be with you."
I shook hands with the people around me and there was someone who hugged me from behind.
"Wassup, Lillian!"
It was Allison, she was wearing a pink dress paired with a white cardigan, then she gave me a peace sign and gave a small peck on the cheek.
"I'm with my parents right now, so see you later!" She waved.
Her parents huh, I wonder how my parents are back in San Francisco.
As soon as the mass has ended I went to Alimento Restaurant where Blake worked. As soon as I entered there were a lot of families who were together, I went to take a seat near the glass window. The Alimento Restaurant doesn't serve buffet in the Morning though it only serves in the evening so there are a lot of waiters passing by, as I was admiring the restaurant, this girl I saw got locked onto my eyes, she was alone like me but she was differently alone it's like there's a bright aura around her that makes her feel special.
"Good Morning Miss! Here's our menu."
I glanced over to a pretty waiter who was blonde; she was pale white and had pinkish lips.
"Oh um, thank you." I grabbed the menu.
I checked the menu and saw my favorite.
"Um, Shrimp Carbonara please." I said pointing it out.
She jotted it down. "What do you want for drinks?" She asked.
"Just water." I smiled.
She nodded. "Um, could you ask the chef Blake Rodriguez to make it for me?" I said.
She looked at me like I was crazy then she nodded, as she left the girl who I was admiring awhile ago she looked at me then she suddenly stood up and went towards me. Whoa did I do something wrong to offend her or somethng?! Don't tell me she's lesbian and she's hitting on me?!
"Hey." She said.
I stared at her. "Uh Hey!" I said.
Then she gave out a sweet smile. "I kinda heard you saying someone familiar." She started looking at her pink polished nails.
"Someone?" I asked.
"Blake Rodriguez, I suppose?" She gave me a devilish look.
"Oh him, he's just a friend of mine." I shrugged.
She looked at me closely. "I don't believe you." She hissed.
I raised my eyebrows. "Seriously he's just a friend of mine!" My voice rose.
She placed her banks behind her ears. "What's your name?" She asked.
"Lillian May."
She suddenly pointed a knife at me.
"Well then Lillian May, I don't know who you are and what you are doing here especially when I heard you asking the waiter to make your carbonara by my Blake, for your information he is mine, and no other girl can go with him just me, alright sweety? I'll let you off the hook this time but sweety if I ever see you with my boyfriend again, I swear you are gonna get some big time you bitch."
