"Hello" Evelyn shouts out into the unknown, the pitch black forest, but no one yelled back like she thought would happen. The silence slowly ate her alive, she thought she was going insane until she heard another snap of a branch caught her attention again. Evelyn kept spinning around in circles looking for who ever or what ever was making the sound. As she stopped looking around, cause she was getting dizzy, she looked though a couple trees to see a shadow and as quick as it showed up it was gone.
"you shouldn't be here Evelyn" A strange, distorted, voice spoke
Evelyn turned around to, once again, see no one
"Why did you have to follow me" It spoke once again but this time from a different direction.
"What are you talking about" she whispered "I just-"
"showed up here. That's a very cliches to say" It snickered at her
"Just shut-up show your self, right NOW" she had demanded
"Why should I listen to YOU" The voice screamed so loud that Evelyn covered her ears but it didn't helped, it only seemed to make the voice louder.
"SHUT-UP... just shut-up" Evelyn screamed at the voice as it wouldn't stop laughing at her. Evelyn feel to her knees still yelling at the voice til her voice turned sore and she just whispered one more time for it to be quiet, but it didn't work. she closed her eyes and started crying, letting the unknown voice win, she was crying so hard she didn't notice the voice stopped being menacing and turn sweet.
"Evelyn come on"
"Evelyn look at me"
"its all..." Evelyn finally looked up waiting for the voice to finish but it didn't it just stop. Evelyn felt something touch her, pushed her almost, it was like it was trying to slowly rock her.
"Evelyn open your eyes" Evelyn now was so confused her eyes were open but she didn't want it to get angry with her again like before. She closed her eyes and squeezed them as tight as she could only to open them a few seconds later. Light flooded her vision blinding her for a few seconds.
"Bella get that fucking flashlight out of her eyes" Crystal yelled at her friends Bella.
"well sorry... I was just trying to help" Bella whispered the last part to her self though everyone heard her.
"hey Evelyn are you alright?" Crystal asked while helping Evelyn sit up.
"ya you where screaming really loudly" Bella said having to put her word in.
"I'm fine don't worry" Evelyn said trying to reassure her friends "just go back to sleep"
Crystal got off of Evelyn's bed knowing she wasn't up to talking. Crystal grab Bella's shoulder slightly as a way to tell her to leave her alone. Bella walked to her sleeping bag on the floor still really tired but now also worried for her best friend. Crystal did the same thing and rolled over on to the other side of Bella's bed trying to go to sleep but just like Bella worried for their best friend.
"don't worry guys I'm fine now go back to bed" Evelyn said while turning on to her side to try and fall asleep, key word, try. Her mind kept replaying the voice from her dream, no nightmare, what was it, who was it. what did it want with her and why.
