Chapter 2 saying goodbye

The next morning I packed up right away like I had no choice but whatever so I packed a whole glump a things and shoved it in my clonking big suitcase and slumped downstairs ready😀 my mom said happy birthday sweetie 😳thanks mom she said oh I don't want you to leave on your 13 birthday your a teenager now well there is something I wanna tell you. the reason I want you to go to aunt Jodie's is because she is a famous artist jodist the artist "OH"! Well look at the time we'd better get moving our babysitter for hunter had just arrived my mom gave her the rules and
so we went into my moms rusty old car and drove to the airport leaving for California 5 minutes so I give the tall women my ticket say bye to my mom and I go through the large door and sat in a seat beside someone my own age I setteled in ,when the plane took of I got extremely bored.so I asked what her name was she didn't answer I shook her and asked again and she said oh sorry my name is Emma I asked her why she is going to California and she said well for the big art show of jodist the artist and she is bringing a guest with her she said she is a fine artist I gasped she said are you alright ha fine just fine then I new in my head it me noooooo they will laugh at my drawings because I'm such a bad artist then I asked when is this show in a week she said happily exited oh ok I had a pencil and sketchbook in my bag I started to draw something but then I ended up drawing a family of three lion cubs a lioness and a dad lion.emma looked over my shoulder and said your the greatest artist I've ever seen you are creative just like jodist the artist WOW then she went speechless watching me colour in the picture with yellows and greens and oranges and brown and all sorts off colours that fit in with that.emma fell asleep on my shoulder after a while but then soon enough I did too.when I woke up Emma was crying I said what's wrong she said when you were sleeping the pilot took my most precious thing away from me. Why I asked and what is it she said it's a picture of me and my mom my only one sniff sniff i asked why she said because I stuck it on the window and it fell of onto someone and it cut them so the pilot took it away.oh I'm sorry why do you only have one picture your like 13 years old she said yeah my mom and dad had me when my mom was eighteen and my dad was sixteen my dad got so stressed and started abusing me and my mom couldn't pay for my injuries so they put me in the orphanage but now I snuck out with just enough money for this trip. that's horrible I say I will be right back I went to the pilot she decscribed  to me and I demanded for the picture she didn't want to but then I told her how much it meant to Emma so she gave it back along with a tray of the best goods they had .she said the plane was gonna land in an hour so that's probably enough to finish all that food.so an hour past by fast and that food was good sandwiches and pretzels, when the plane landed Emma found a sign saying for foster homes she went right there and I went to the sign saying Maria whoo hoo finally off the plane I was ready to dance around a little aunt Jodie said hello sport haven't seen you since you were this small she rubbed my head and gave me a noogie until she reached my brain it hurt So much her house is not far from the airport but we drove because I had a lot of bags when we drove we were both silent I was thinking of Emma and she will probably not be at the show next Wednesday when we got there her outside of her house was beautiful no colour just a nice grey type of thing when I got inside the best thing ever happened to me the walls were orange my most favourite colour in the world!
