"You're all overreacting!" Mrs. Handier yelled. "I told you guys that I picked partners so this could be finished in time. We're very late! Okay, this school year is almost over and we still haven't completed this because we were so busy with many other things. And I will not change the due date which is tomorrow. Do you understand me?" She asked, and got no response which meant no one really cared or wanted to argue.

I looked over Nina, and she immediately looked right back at me. We still haven't spoken to each other after we got drunk. I don't remember anything that happened.

And I smiled at her, which she ignored and focused on the teacher.

I hated being ignored. I hated being shut out! Why won't she just confront her problems. Being ignored reminds me of social rejection.

It's been three days and we didn't say a word to each other.

I rested my head and fell asleep for the rest of the classes we had until it was lunch time and someone finally decided to wake me.

"Dude, wake up!" She yelled, scaring the living shit out of me. Who screams while someone is having there beauty sleep? I jumped up, and rubbed my eyes harshly.

Nina was the idiotic one to wake me up which caused my lips to form a smile.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I asked.

"Because of something really stupid and I apologize. Devon told me to make up with you and I did." She said, sincerely.

That smile was still there and I couldn't help but smile even wider.

Sometimes you feel like you're better off alone, but in reality you do really want someone to be there for you. To reach out and show you things you've never seen before.

Having a friend is great when you know that you can tell the weirdest secret and they'll understand. To make promises and never break them. To show someone that you care and change the world for them even if it's a risk.

"Come on, lets go." I nodded, and quickly grabbed my bag. After we payed for our lunch, we met with Devon. And you'll never guess who I saw.

Yes. Masky.

He smirked when I arrived and I looked away, sitting across him. Why is he here? Do he want to ruin his reputation? Or is he here to ruin my reputation? What I've been hiding ever since Corbin and Casey's death.

"Hey, masky." Nina said. "This is Eleanor."

"Yeah, we've met." He replied shortly.

"So did you guys start on the science fair."

"Yeah, but I'm not done yet."

"She's taking all the credit." Devon said, in a very childish way. I raised my eyebrows and crosses my arms.

"You didn't do anything to help me with."

"Well, that's true but it's not my fault I don't understand what we're doing."

"Jesus! For the thousand time we're talking about batteries-"

"I don't want to hear. It sounds boring!"

"Dude, I'm dumber than you and I think what we're doing is really impressive."

"You guys are seriously doing batteries." Nina asked in a serious tone. "That's so childish. I'm testing if hypnosis really works."
