Sammy's POV

(One Month later)

Jake and I started to interact with one another again. It's been a long hell of time since we've seen each other and frankly I thought I'd never be able to see him again. He promised we'd go out to the bar today but I've been banging on this door for five minute straight receiving no respond.

the door finally opened and my fist knocked him so hard. he chuckled, "well, you're persistent."

"that's because you didn't open the door." i snarled.

After, driving to the bar with nothing but silence we arrived.

"This place looks like shit." Jake murmured, shutting his door.

"Like your face." I retorted. "Besides, that's only the outside. You'll be astonished from the inside." He only scoffed and entered before me.

"I guess you're right."  Looking at Jake's amusing face made a smile crept on my face. He was just admiring the vintage bar which you don't normally see. "Wow, when did you find about this place?"

"About a year ago, I come here all the time." I replied, truthfully. "Despite my age, I love drinking but I'm not addicted to it." he chuckled lightly.

"Yeah, I knew this was going to be anticlimactic." He bluntly say as we order our drinks. I narrowed my eyes at him, watching him for a while. He finally notices and blushed saying, "What?"

"Oh- I uh- It's nothing." He nods and the lady hands him his drink.

"Shit." He murmurs, getting my attention. "What's wrong?"

"Can we go back?" He asked, making me very curious. "Ah sure but why?"

"I forgot to bring cash." This made me spit my drink, bursting in laughter. I couldn't stop my laughter. I brought my hands to my mouth, covering it.  He just glared at me making me stop. "I'll pay for you."

"No, I- uh okay well fine if you insist. But I'll pay you back." He first hesitated then finally gave in. Then after a while of talking, this lady who was sitting a seat across was being harassed by several men.  It was becoming to a point where one of them touched her and she couldn't do anything about. It wasn't my business and she could've easily just report it to the bartender but she didn't.  So, I got up completely vexed. "Sammy? What are you doing?" Jake asked.

"Pardon me, but is there a problem?" I asked, with a hint of exasperation in my voice. One guy quickly stood up from towering over me. His muscled body and his age made me rethink this situation. I am going to be receiving more than a black eye today.  "Is this any of your business?" He replied, his voice was very deep and terrifying. Let's call him Scary, okay?
