Link's POV

Rhett and I were walking to a restaurant to go get breakfast.In the corner of my eye I saw a girl by the dumbster.

"Wait Rhett"
I walked to the girl and she looked up.She looked surprised but she tried to hide it.

"Hello,whats your name?" I asked

Candace's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes it was Link Neal!

"Hello,whats your name?"He asked

"Candace"I said,still in total disbelief

"Would you like to come with me and eat breakfast,you look like you're hungry" He asked

"Su-sure" I answered

I grabbed my stuff and Went with Link.I tried not to fangirl this could be my chance to get a home,I didn't want to mess it up.

We all walked in the restaurant and took a seat near the window.I asked if I could sit by the window and they said yes.

"So what are you doing here out in the streets?" Rhett asked

"Umm. . . Well" I wasn't sure if I should tell them.

"You can trust us"Link said

"Fine,when I used to live back "home" which was a few days ago, My parents abused me.I would come home from school and they would hit me every single day.To make it worse I was bullied at school I had no friends but my sister who always stood up for me.One day I was walking to my class and then this boy pulled me into the boys bathroom an-and he started to to-touch me" at this point I was crying uncontrollably.I hated my life.
"Then I told the teachers and they didn't believe,they thought I was joking.

Rhett stood up and gave me the warmest hug I ever had.

"Sh sh its gonna be ok you're here now"

Our food finally came and we ate quietly
