"Do you ever wonder why girls ditch the fuck out of you? I mean, it's the third time she's made some petty excuse not to meet you."

"Nope." A relieved sigh. "Last time I checked, I didn't want to get married and be tied down at the age of twenty-three. If she keeps refusing to meet me then she's only doing me a favour."

"Right. Because you hate girls and you're allergic to fun."

"Why do you sound like you know who you're talking about? Have you met the girl my mother wants me to marry?"

"Well, no. But I'm just saying, it's not like she'll expect you to commit to her if this marriage is as arranged as you make it seem to be. You can still be a free man and she'll have whatever benefit she could get from marrying... well, you."

"Jase, sometimes, you make me question your humanity. What sort of man marries a girl and then looks at other women, anyway?"

"If you should know, Dexter's father doesn't seem to care that he's married."

"Oh no, you don't, Jason. Don't drag my father into this."
