Isaiah was always an curious fellow. His imagination boundless. In a book or experimenting he always found a way to think through things logically. His new neighbors caught his eye. Strange machinery entered his thoughts yesterday. But today it was the light. The bright light from their shed this morning. It was hard to miss so close to the shed itself, only a fence between the two. He heard the father leave, then the flash happened, then he returned and acted like his child just vanished.
Isaiah knew better then to snoop, but he couldn't help it. So there he is, snooping.
Listening for the girl to exit, but he heard nothing! He waited for about an hour before deciding to get a drink and heading inside for a moment.
After selecting a sweet beverage which he chugs down immediately and then he heads outside again. The outside was quiet, except for one thing. The shrill small scream by his feet. He steps back looking around for the cause of the Noise. He looks down and shouts, stumbling a bit, next to where his foot was stands a girl, she's no bigger then three inches tall, she seems to be frozen, Isaiah gets on his hands and knees he feels his heart pounding in his chest, his breath shaky as he crawls to the creature. The girl steps back, falling over."N-no! I-it's okay..." He whispers, this seems to have done nothing to calm the girl, who screams when he moves to pick her up. She scrambles to her feet, trying to dart. Out of desperation he plucks her off of the ground. He's not very gentle at first but loosens his grip when she struggles.
What happened next became a blur, but he was inside now, still holding the girl, who has given up trying to get away. Isaiah hurries into his room and slams the door closed which the creature responds to with cowering and covering her ears.
He sets her on the dresser, again she is frozen, all but her eyes, which dart around searching for an escape route. Isaiah kneels next the dresser studying the girl, who spoke quietly he couldn't make out what she was saying.
"How is this possible... A miniature human being... " he grabs out a note pad and scribbles things down narrating his own writing "the figure appears to be.... Female? Yes.... ?"
The Miniature snaps out of her trance shouting "Why is that even a question?! I literally am Right, here!! " she stops her little foot. Isaiah looks at her, wide mouthed, his gaping mouth turns into a grin, she responded.Isaiah beamed, "well, I've just never seen anything like you before. It's not like you're human anyways... " he begins writing again
The girl scoffed again, but the Giants movements were swift and large and it made her nervous so she decided not to say anything more.He wrote and walks and notices the girls unease "hey... I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just curious is all. After I'm done I'll let you go and you can do whatever you want in the wild.. Just a few more minutes ."
This did little to ease her, Little to calm her. She has her eyes constantly on her captor, waiting sweet promised release.
