Its a big world after all.

I pick up the tire. Maybe I'd put it in a pile somewhere in case we need it. I put the tire in the corner of the room and begin to look at the masking tape. I check my father's aim, then I kneel on the ground to move the tape a little. Precision is needed for these things. Then the whirring starts again. I don't pay any mind to it and continue. A sudden strike of warmth on my back, first just a pin then it spread, things started to grow. I felt everything contract, my shouts drowned quickly by my size. I could feel my heart racing my head spinning, I could hear, and feel footsteps, I covered my ears at the pounding sound. I shook, no, quivered in fear. Other then that I was paralysed from what was causing my shaking. Fear was all I knew a short moment. When I hear the door open, which was not pleasant, quite loud and terrifying. Running on adrenaline I stood and darted for cover, I heard my fathers booming voice "Ellie?" He asked, I didn't respond. I stayed hidden under the machine. "Ellie?" He asked again no doubt looking around. I shook and whimpered. It was very unlikely he could hear me. His footsteps thunder as he walks. He mutters something which he thinks only he can hear "Where has she gone now?" He gives the room a quick glance over not seeing me then walks out. I take a deep breath collecting myself and shakily I crawl out and look at the world around me; its huge, everything is actually, the machine a skyscraper, the tire almost as big as a house! It's so overwhelming, I feel faint.. Then I feel at peace when I close my eyes. I let my thick brown hair do what it wants after my hard work brushing it, I feel my rough, bumpy, pale skin. I feel at peace.
I walk to the door, the space between the door and the floor is enough to squeeze through. When I climb out I regret it. This world is even more overwhelming, the gravel now large rocks and that small pile of rocks now a structure about my height. It dawns on me,I was weak, I was tiny. I look over what seems to be a few miles of gravel and grass. It's a big world after all
