Mother's belly grew. I'm not talking just a few inches. More like 20 inches! I'm going to become a big sister. Do I even want to? The thoughts still scatter my brain.

After coming back from the doctor's appointment with Mother and Father, my mindset started to change. A human being was living in Mother. I'm starting to like the idea of being a big sister. I still don't know what the baby will be. Mother doesn't want to know the gender. She wants it to be a surprise. I hate surprises. It drives me crazy!

Mrs. Jones doesn't really assign me much homework. She secretly gives me choreographs to strength my understanding of the specific type of dance. As I practiced dancing en pointe, Father interrupted me. "Lumina, I have good news for you." I turned the music down. "Am I having a baby brother? Please tell me I am..." I went on and on not letting Father finish. "Lumina! We don't know the gender yet. I wanted to tell you that you won't be moving out of your room. This room," Father motions his hands around the room, "Is yours forever, until you move out. Don't forget your mother's due date." He smiled at me, leaving the door shut. I went back to dancing. I danced my hardest, it was my ideal way of celebrating.
