Firefly of love (Manan)

Hold me once

The morning was never so fresh before. The sun shining in it's glory and soothing wind making her hairs flow swiftly. She looked at herself in the mirror while fixing her earing and happily said to herself 'Nandini you are ready to face him now'.

"Nandu...let's go now please..you are taking forever to get ready" Navya begged with irritation.

"Coming naa...let's go" Nandini grabbed her bag and dragged Navya with her.

"Is it what I am thinking or is it your birthday or something" Navya asked while looking at her.

"It's nothing dumbo..for how many times I have to say that I don't have a crush on him" Nandini smacked her arm.

"I didn't say that this time...but the way you have dressed is telling another story. I am going to be sure now if you keep getting excited to meet your monster." Navya teased her.

"Please Navya..stop coocking stories on your head" She blushed and said.

"Yeah..fine" Navya replied while running towards the auto along with her.

As they reached towards the college entrance, Nandini gave Navya a pleading smile.

"Fine...go l will pay this time...but Chachi's Chole are all mine today.

Nandini ran before mutturing a thank you.

Finding him was never so tough before. She checked every where but couldn't see him.While running towards the lift to check another floor she bumped on a hard frame. Before she could hit the ground a strong pair of hands caught her.

Time stood still as she opened her eyes and got lost in his deep irishes.For all she could remember was his flawless face. A look of anger flickered in his eyes , but it slowly faded as his eyes scanned her angelic face. Something magnetic passed through them and their faces started to inch closure.

Nandini could feel her skin heated. He saw a faint red in her face and he knew it was his effects on her. Before they could get more closure, their trance broke and he slowly distracted himself from her.

Nandini was still in his arms. Manik noticed her blushing and he left her slender frame.

"Thank you" She muttured softly and saw a little smile in his face for a second and it disappeared as he regained his monsterous facade.

"You always need help! now lets get over with your project and never ever again ask for my help again" He replied and started to walk towards music room followed by her.

Nandini thanked her Aiyappa for saving her and showing the soft side of her monster. She knew she would break through his walls one day.
