The music of love

"Here" He gave her a sheet filed with music notes.

She gulped hard and grabbed the paper more closely to understand everything but it was not working.

"Could you show me how to sing this notes, it's kind of complicated" She gave him an innocent pleading look.

"Fine" He snapped and grabbed his guiter.

As soon as his fingers traced the wires and his voice started to humm, the world started to change around her.

She was lost in his voice but Manik waved his hand to break her trance.

"Stop drooling and start learning" He
smirked and started playing the tune again while Nandini blushed hard.

She slowly started to pick up the tune with him and after a few break downs they started to sing together happily. Nandini saw his genuin smile for the first time as he sang with his heart.

"You look good when you are happy" She said as the music ended.

Manik was amazed at her compliment. For the first time instead of going back in his monster facade, he smiled.

"Thank you! Now i know I will get the scholership because of you" She smiled back.

"No miss Murthy! Thank you isn't enough" He took a step closure to her while she freezed in his proximity.

"Then w-what? she asked with nervousness.

"You! you need to stay away from me from now on" He replied with his husky voice and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Her eyes furrowed, his hot breath mingling with hers and their eyes locked in each others. Manik suddenly stepped back and left her alone all of a sudden.

"I don't know if I can stay away from you or not!" Nandini mumbled, still lost with the effect of their closeness.
