Legends of Spyro and Moonlight

Chapter 2 - The different and the powerless

Moonlight bumps into Cynder and she falls back on her plot. Cynder then comes over to her calm and asks "Everything okay miss?" Moonlight sweats and gulps "Y-you... used to.." Cynder cuts her off "Miss what is the matter please were lost and your the only one who seems to know where to go" Moonlight then puts a dark magic shield around herself to protect herself from Cynder. Spyro cuts in and Cynder goes and sits next to Sparx "She might have heard of your past miss dark lord" as Sparx says giving her a smart ass tone Cynder glares at him and replies with "Knock it off Sparx, whatever she is she is giving off a bad energy but she seems to know it" Sparx then says to her "I'm sure shes just like the rest of us here but well.. umm what is she?" Cynder looks at the grey mare whos in her dark magic force field "I'm not sure Sparx, I have never seen someone who looked like her before"

Spyro comes to closer to the dark magic shield that Moonlight had put up to protect herself. "Wow a creature like yourself is different" spyro says as he looks at her and gives a friendly smile. "I just.. Cynder... I can read her past.. it scares... she dark.." Spyro looks at her straight in the eye "You give off a strong dark magical vibe but I promise Cynder is a great dragon" Spyro tries to get to Moonlight and bumps into the dark magic shield and the dark magic hurts him "AHHHHHHHHHHHH" Cynder hears Spyro's scream of pain and runs over to him "SPYRO!!!!!!! Spyro lays on the ground as he faints Cynder looks at Moonlight with an angry expression on her face "YOU HURT HIM!!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!" Cynder charges at the dark magic shield and hits it and breaks it "Your dead!!" Moonlight runs fast away. Cynder wasn't gonna have that so she flaps her wings and flies and tackles Moonlight "Your not gonna get away from me!!!" Cynder opens her mouth to get ready to attack Moonlight with her shadow breath but as she is about to do that Moonlight kicks her off with her back hoofs and runs away. Moonlight then thinks [god i wish my wing haven't had broke... ugh two more fucking hours] She keeps running and then stops at a tree to rest and Sparx happens to be right behind her "Hey what happend back there?" and Moonlight looks at him and says "Your friend spyro is it? Ran into my dark magic shield and my shield hurt him and now that you see he is passed out" Sparx nods his head and then Cynder comes up behind her and attacks her with poison as Moonlight turns around and she takes out her guitar and her guitar turns into her axe. As Moonlight is about to swing her axe all they hear is "STOP!!!" it was Spyro he was okay and awake.

Moonlight drops her axe to the ground and it turns back into her guitar. Spyro goes over to Cynder "Cynder, are you okay?" Cynder then gets up off her back and catches her breath "I'm okay don't worry" Spyro looks over at the mare who was sitting in the grass. Spyro comes over to her "Hey, What are you.. And how did you happen to do that dark magic shield thing?" Moonlight looks at the purple dragon and sighs and gets up "I'm a pony and the dark magic shield.. Dark magic is the only magic I have, most ponies of my kind would find it weird that have dark magic but no normal magic but you know, I'm happy with it... Sometimes.. And the shield how it hurt you well it's dark magic" She sighs again and goes to laying down. Spyro puts his talon on her shoulder "I know we don't know each other but if you want you could come on a journey with us." Moonlight looked at him and then shakes her head "I guess it would be okay and by the way my name is Moonlight Shimmer but I go back Moony or Moonlight." Spyro looks at her and give her a smile and puts out his talon and Moonlight shakes it "It's very nice to meet you Spyro" Moonlight and Spyro walk back over to Cynder and Sparx "I'm sorry about the shield Spyro and sorry about almost cutting you Cynder" Cynder looks at Moonlight with forgiveness "It's okay, I know you know my past but it's all over now, but may I ask what are y-" Spyro cuts Cynder off "Shes a pony, her name is Moonlight Shimmer but goes by Moonlight or Moony and the dark magic is the only magic she has" Cynder looks over at Spyro "You got all of that out of her?" Spyro nods

"I say we go find ignitus and see what he wanted" Spyro says. Cynder nods in agreement as they began to leave Spyro looks back behind him "You coming Moonlight it could be fun" Moonlight looks over at Spyro, Cynder, and the pouty face Sparx "Come on come with us!!! You said yes!!!!" Sparx says. Moonlight gives in only because seeing Sparx pout was funny as hell "Alright fine" Moonlight goes to grab her saddle bag and her guitar. She puts both her saddle bag and her guitar on her back. As she walk back over to them Spyro asked "Want me to help you with that? Looks like a lot to carry" Moonlight replies with "Nah I'm fine don't worry about it" They Started walking and Sparx start yammering to Moonlight "Yeah I always do all the work and these two are always taking all the credit" Moonlight rolls her eyes and laughs a little "Wow for a little bug you sure have a big mouth" she said. Spyro and Cynder over hear her smart remark and laugh a bit too "Man she hasn't even know you for that long Sparx and she already knows how you can be" Sparx then says with a pissed off tone "I'M NOT A BUG!!!!" He flies off in a bitter rage. Spyro then turns around and to look at her "Don't worry about him he can be a royal pain in the tail end sometimes and hes a hothead but he will get over it give him a few hours" as he said that him, Cynder, and Moonlight all shared a laugh.
