Kamryn (Aries) POV:
"Do I still have to go?" I complained rather loudly as a large brick building came into view. I heard a huff from beside me and turned to look at my best friend, Delilah, who was seemingly annoyed. She rolled her eyes at my whining.
"It's too late to turn back now," She commented, "Besides, you can live through the first day. I don't think the teachers will make you do work for a few days."
"Still," I continued to whine, "even if they just go through the course, I'll jump out the window." Delilah snorted silently and shook her head.
"Aw, I can already taste the amount of tests you're gonna fail this year," Delilah said, sarcasm filling her words. I pouted at her and punched her arm lightly.
"I'm serious!" I whined as we stopped by the main door. We both sighed in unison as we pushed open the doors, thoughts of the upcoming year running through our minds. We looked at each other as we stepped inside the high school. By the look she was giving me, I knew exactly what she was thinking, and I was thinking the same exact thing. 'Welcome to hell.'* * *
I grabbed a notebook from my locker and shut it a bit louder than I planned. Delilah jumped slightly at the noise, but tried to play it off while she made sure nobody saw.
"You good, Del?" I asked, snickering at her as she tried to act like she didn't know what I was talking about.
"What... what are you talking about?" She questioned. She furrowed her eyebrows, keeping up a good act, but her voice wavered when she spoke. I shook my head in disbelief and sighed.
"Nevermind," I said. We both stood in a comfortable silence and looked around. We both started looking around, looking for any familiar faces in the crowds of loud teenagers. Then I saw someone; blonde hair, beautiful light blue eyes - I smirked as I recognized Christofer - Delilah's crush since they met in 6th grade. I nudged her in the side with my elbow and directed her gaze to where he was standing.
"Shut up..." Delilah mumbled under her breath, a light pink dusting her cheeks. I bit my lip to prevent myself from laughing.
"You should at least try to talk to him this year!" I urged her with a pleading look.
"I'll try..." She said in a slightly embarrassed tone. She knew that if she didnt, I would do it for her. I just so happened to be a close friend of his, which made it a bit easier on my account. We both glanced back to see Christofer looking back at us, then smiled at us. I waved him over to start a conversation between him and Delilah, and he started making his way towards us.Christopher (Capricorn) POV:
"Hey Kam, Del," I acknowledged both of the girls, a nervous smile forming on my face.
"Hey, man," Delilah greeted me in her laid-back tone.
"Hey, Chrisipoo!" Kam said. I sighed at her nickname, but didn't bother to frown.
"Please stop calling me that," I asked quietly.
"How was your summer?" Kam asked, not hearing my request. Or just ignoring it.
"Just dandy," I replied sarcastically to her, turning to ask Delilah how her summer was. Before I could say anything, the damn bell had to ring. That was just great. Just when I had the chance to tal-
"I'm gonna get to first period. I heard Mrs. Steinfeld hates late people," Kam rolled her eyes and hurried off, leaving Delilah and I together in the emptying hallway. I shifted awkwardly while Delilah looked up at me with a smile.
"I hope we have some classes together," She said softly before leaving me alone with an idiotic grin spread across my face.A/N: Okay, so, I'm going to be incorporating more of the Zodiac things a bit later in the story. For the most part, I'm just going to introduce the characters and stuff for right now. It's going to take a while to update because of school and such, but I'll try to do it as much as possible. Also, the characters are going to be like the stereotypes of their signs, so please don't take offense to it. That's basically it. And the picture in this chapter is of Kamryn, Delilah, and Christofer. Okay, thank you!
