Chapter sixteen

"MJ,wake up,wake up,wake up,wake up,wake up,WAKE UP!!", i heard someone shouted at me to get up,i groan.

"Leave me alone", i mumbled,shooing that person who ever was that to go away.

"MJ,you have school,wake up!",he said shaking me,i look for a pillow around me and hit him.

"Oww,dude,just get up already,or i'll drag you there", he said,i can picture him smirking.

Getting up,i glared at Jordan and he stood up from my bed and left, "Breakfast is ready, oh by the way,mom's here", he said before leaving my room.

I got up and pick my pillow up and put it on my comfy bed,i went downstairs and saw my mom sitting down,reading some local newspaper and drinking some coffee.

"Morning sweetie,had a good night?",she said setting the paper down,i slowly nodded and took some cereal and milk and pour it on my bowl. I sat down across my mom and we stayed quiet for awhile until she spoke.

"I had a great time at work for the past week",she said not taking her eyes off the newspaper.

"Oh really? Well,i had had a great and bad week with those crazy animals", i said eating my cereal ,she chuckled and i put my dish in the sink and went to my room and took a shower.

I was done already with my looks,i head downstairs and saw my mom,again.

"Honey,it's okay,i'll drop you to school,you might get tired of walking ya know?",she said getting the keys from the counter,i followed behind her and close the door,my brothers had left while i was taking a shower.

We got 'in the car and drove away....

The ride to school was pretty awkward,none of us said a thing,the only thing that you can hear is the radio. I felt weird like this,usually my mother and i would always talk when we go somewhere or when she would drop me to school,like right now.

We arrive at the school and as soon as i got out my mom said.

"Take care sweet heart",she smiled warmly and i kiss her cheek and got out.

I turn around and she drove off. I sighed and went to my locker and got my books that i need today,i slowly close the locker and started walking.

Suddenly,someone grab my hand and linked our hands together,i look up to see Zack, also looking at me,i smiled and lean my head on his arm since i was quite short,curse being short! But i guess it's pretty cool being short....fun size !!!

"You smell good", i said. He just chuckled and said"Thanks,it's called 'Axe' i believe", i giggled and we head to the crowded hallway,full of disgusting,smelly,people,No offense! But yeah.

"See you MJ", he said going to his class,he kiss my cheek and went inside,i could feel the hotness already burning my skin.

I walk to class and open the door to see i came quite early,i went to my seat next to a kid,i believe was name Ashton? But who ever his name was he look at me and smiled,weird,usually we don't even look at each other like that,we just glance at each other and do our work.

"I see that you have a boyfriend", he said not taking his eyes off of his work,i raise an eyebrow and almost choke on my own spit.

"What?",i said confuse.

"Oh Miranda,don't play dumb with me,i know that you and that guy name,Zack are totally in love", he said looking at me now,i have to idea what the heck is this kid talking about!

"Oh,you must be mistaken,we aren't dating,we're just friends friends,that's all", i said writing down the notes on the board.

"Mmhmm,yeah right,it's obvious Miranda,lots of people know about you guys", he said,smiling,i froze,lots of people?!

"Who told you?", i ask curiously,i stop writing and looked at him like he has four heads,he chuckled.

"Oh,just a guy name Rylan,yep,he quite told many people about you guys", he said also looking at me,i grew so mad,my lips were thin and i continued my work,he's probably jelly about us hanging out,he's really gonna get it bad.

It was lunch already and i knock some people out of my way,i was so pissed off right now, i just want to rip his head out and feed it to the alligators.

I gave people death glares and sat down at our spot,i put my legs close to my chest and rested my chin on my knees, he's jelly cuz' he doesn't get to be with me anymore,stupid weirdo. I sighed in frustration and close my eyes,letting the wind caress my skin.

"MJ,you okay?", i heard Zack ask me ,i look up to see him sitting next to me,i shook my head no.

"Tell me why you're crying", he said putting his hand on my leg,i sigh and took a deep breath.

"Well,earlier at science class,my classmate name Ashton told me that we're dating,but i told him that we're just friends,then he didn't believe me so i ask who told him and he said it was Rylan,i guess he told a lot of people and now they think we're dating,i think that he's just jealous l,that's all", i said running my fingers through my hair,Zack shook his head in disappointment,i guess he's mad as well.

"Zack,what are you doing?", i ask worriedly when he stood up and put his sleeves up.

"Teaching that asshole a lesson!", he snap,i sigh and stood up as well,i took his hand and rub it in circles.

"Zack,you don't have to", i said looking straight into his eyes,he sigh and slowly calm down.

"MJ,i have to,for what he did to you all those years,i can't just let him keep doing this to you,besides i couldn't stand it,you being hurt from what he did", he said,running his fingers through his hair.

Sighing,i let him go and he smiled and kiss my cheek,he left to go and find Rylan.
