Harries Twins Changed my Life

Chapter 2

Finn's POV

"JACK!" I heard my little sister Emmy call from upstairs and my brother running up to see whats wrong. Typical day in the Harries household. I grabbed a banana and walked towards my living room to watch some tv. Just as I was taking a bite, I saw a girl admiring the snow globe I got from Ibiza a while back. 

"Hello?" she spun around and gave me a confused smile.

"Oh hi Jack, why did you change clothes?"

"What? I didn-" I stopped myself. "I mean, yes I did. For no reason..." I had a feeling this was the girl Emmy was telling me about earlier, the one that Jack really liked. I thought, being his brother and all, I would help. I mean, I would want him to if I knew someone as pretty as her.

"Okay, well anyways what did Emmy want?" she put the snow globe down and walked closer. 

"Um, oh nothing... Just wanted to know, uhm, when my parents were coming home." 

"Oh okay." she smiled. 

"You look really pretty today." Helping Jack step 1.

"Aw, thanks Jack!" she blushed. "I haven't heard that in a long time..." she trailed off. 

"Why not? Your gorgeous!" She just smiled and sat down looking at her hands. "I mean it." I joined her on the couch and lifted her chin, making her look me in the eye. Just then, I heard the floor creak from upstairs and footsteps. Damn it, here comes Jack. "Don't you forget that, now I'll be right back. I'm just gonna, uh, throw this out." I picked up my banana peel and quickly walked out, hoping to avoid Jack.

Bethany's POV

As he walked out, I felt this warm feeling in my chest go away. I got it whenever he was around, and whe he left, it made me feel almost empty inside. He was all I had.

"Hey, sorry 'bout that." he walked back in and the feeling came back, making a smile tugg at my lips. 

"Oh thats okay. Why do you keep changing?" The first time he was wereing blue, then red, and now a black baggy sweater.

"Oh, I got a little cold. Anyways, do you wanna go now?" He was going to take me on a hike in this cool place he found as a kid. He says its absolutley beautiful.

"Sure!" I grinned as he lead me to the door. I slipped on my old tattered shoes and walked out the door he was holding open for me. 

"Okay, just a few more steps..." Jack pushed me to go on, we had been walking for over 2 hours now and he was leading me to his favourite spot. As we reached the top of the hill, I gasped. The veiw was gorgeous!

"Oh Jack! It's beautiful!" It looked like something you would see in a painting! I ripped my eyes off it to look at Jack, who was staring at me with a smile. "what?" I blushed and looked at my hands. I felt his hand underneath my chin and he slowly lifted it, making me look ito his perfect eyes. 

"You're beautiful Beth. I mean it, you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen abd I want you to know that I would do anything for you." My eyes started to blurr and I gave him a slight smile. 

"Thank you Jack, again." I attempted blinking back my tears. "It really means a lot to hear that." My attempt clearly failed as a tear slipped dowm my cheek. 

"Don't cry, love. That's the last thing I wanted to happen." Jack's thumb was pressed to my cheek and wiped it away. 

"Sorry." I pulled my head back down and played with my hands. 

"Beth. Look at me." this time he grabbed me by the shoulder. "I brought you up here because I like you. I know you've had a bad past, though I don't know exactly what, but I want to be the one that you forget about all of that with. So please Bethany, don't cry."  I nodded, taking a deep breath to calm myself. 

I nodded saying, "Thank you, for everything Jack." 

"No problem love." he wiped my last tears and gave me a kiss on my right cheek, which made me blush. "You know, you're cute when you blush." he gave me a cheeky wink and I blushed even more. "Common, let's go home." he grabbed my hand and led me back down the hill. This night was perfect. I just hope nothing ruins it.
