Guess who's back... back again

Hiyas my wildflowers. Officially back in England woop woop *dance break* Ireland was absolutely awesome, especially Halloween when I was Cruella DeVille. My cousin Leah did my makeup and I looked fabulous, if a little like a drag queen. It's all in the celebrations though! I will be updating a few little stories that I wanna share and stuff but there is one major thing I need to rant about first...

The flight back was terrible. Absolutely terrible.

Let's start with the boarding. It was all fine and dandy until we sat down and was told that there would be a two hour delay because of the fog in London. I was trying to stay optimistic, thinking it would be a good time to catch up on homework and such. I ended up finishing Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green (totally recommend it by the way)

However, when two hours had come and gone I began to get a bit suspicious. We were then told that the fog had cleared up in London but in Dublin, fog had began to emerge. Before we couldn't fly because the landing airport wasn't clear but then the departure airport was not in use. But hey, we can't control the weather and this is just an annoying coincidence.

Four hours. Four hours of sitting in a sweaty plane to be only told we'll be flying in a minute, just wait a bit and we'll be in the air. Load. Of. Rubbish. They let us get off at half six to reboard at seven. Yeah, that didn't happen. It was half seven when I returned to my seat.

Another two hours of promise later they do the precautions display. You know, when they have the staff point at the exits and show you how to activate the life jackets and stuff. I was thinking yay, we'll be up soon. Nope- didn't happen. It was another hour until we began up the runway and a few things happened...

1. My sister began to cry. Not your sniffly-teary type of crying, full blown bawling her eyes out. This really nice guy behind us began talking to her which calmed her for a bit. Random dude- thank you.

2. A drunk dude got real angry. He demanded to be let off and ended up being prosecuted. We all cheered because it was some kind of retaliation in the entire six hour delay. It was funny.

3. A child thought it would be a great idea to go nah-nah-nah-nah for a good few minutes. Annoying kid- SHUT UP WITH YOUR IRRITATING NOISES. And two other I presume kids played rock paper scissors for five minutes straight. You can shut up and all.

Let me set the scene. It's hot and sweaty- pretty dark too seeing as it's 9pm. Everyone is stresed, everyone is tired, everyone is irritable. We have finally started moving and everyone is cheering. Then nothing. The plane stops on the runway for another half hour. Fabulous.

At half nine SIX HOURS AFTER WE BOARDED we were finally in the sky. Six hours of being annoyed beyond belief may I hasten to add

In the end, all I wanna say is that I don't blame Ryanair for the fog- no one can control the weather. I just did not appreciate the constant flow of broken promises. They knew before we boarded that the weather would delay us. They should have told us from the beginning that it would be ages until we could fly- why board us if they knew we couldn't take off until over six hours later?! Ryanair, you are annoying. I'm gonna be exhausted at school tomorrow because I didn't get home till midnight. I don't like you at all. :[
