We pulled up to the gym around 2, just in time, as all of the other level 4's were waiting outside.
I quickly hopped out of the car, waving my foster mom, Mrs. Cara, goodbye.
I tried to look for some of my friends, because all I really wanted to do right now was talk to them.
I still miss my parents.
ah, there's Hayley.
I quickly ran over to her, giving her a quick hug.
Hayley was one of my best friends. She was funny, sweet, and always made me laugh.
we started talking about floor routines before we got called inside.
I dropped my bag off, grabbing my grips, and headed out to the floor to stretch.
Hayley and my other friend Audrey were already out so I went and joined them.
"Hey!!" I yelled, taking a seat and stretching in my straddle next to both.
"hey Zoey!" Replied Hayley, now in her left split.
their was an awkward silence, though between us. between the fact that i lost my parents and Hayley lost Caleb, it was hard to talk about anything happy.
"So... do you want to come spend the night at my house today?" Asked Hayley, a smile upon her face as she continued to stretch.
"Sounds fun!" I replied, just as our coach called us to our first event to practice; Bars.
Bars is my favorite.
we all waited in line, and we were just practicing pullover, front hip circle, sole circle dismount to get us started, nice and easy.
I chalk up my grips and take my turn, nailing it well.
I think today is going to be a good day.
