Castiel x Reader

This is a request~ "The reader falls asleep and says Cas' name in her sleep. The boys know she likes him now but he doesn't know, so he finds out by the reader dreaming of him again and him entering the dream." I will try my best to make this as fluffy as I can!!

It had been a long day and all you needed right now was a long nap. When you and the brothers arrived back at the hotel, you dropped your stuff on the floor and flopped on the bed.

"So, this..thing..we are hunting. What it is?" Dean asked, opening a beer he somehow always has in the fridge.

"I don't know yet. I'm still trying to figure that out. Hey (Y/N) do you mind help-" He looked over to you, only to see you passed out. He laughed, turning his face back to his computer.

After some time of you being asleep, you began to mumble.Dean and Sam looked in your direction, quite confused considering you never actually talked in your sleep. They both began to slowly walk over to you. Your mumbling became louder, and what came out your mouth surprised both Dean and Sam.Once they got over the shock, they began to laugh, causing you to jolt awake.

"Hey, w-what's going on? Why are you laughing at me?' You rubbed your eye, your voice laced with confusion.

"Do you realize what you said? Or better yet, WHOSE name you said?" Dean was laughing.

"What do you me-" and then it hit you, while sleeping, you were having a dream about the angel you knew too well. With his beautiful blue eyes, the way he cocks his head when he doesn't understand something, or the way he always comes to your rescue when needed. Yes, you had to admit you slightly had a crush on the angel Castiel. And by slight, I mean huge.

"Guys...did I say his name..." they nodded in response. "Did he hear?" they shook their head no.

"Okay, as long he doesn't know, I'm okay." you sighed, laying down again.

"As long as I don't know what (Y/N)?" There's that heavenly voice you knew too well. You slowly looked at him from the corner of your eye.

"Uhm, well..its nothing. Don't worry okay? Yeah! Absolutely nothing. Hehe.." You then turned your back to them, facing the couch. You were still tired, so you couldn't help falling asleep again.

"I've found what we've been hunting. It's a-" Cas began, only to be cut off with you saying his name again. He turned, looking at you. He walked towards you, turning his head in confusion. He turned to look at the brothers, only for them to be gone. He turned back to your sleeping form. He placed his hand on your forehead. He closed his eyes then opened them only to find him standing in an open field, with the stars shining brightly. He began to walk a little, only to see what seemed to be a picnic laying in the open field with a figure laying on it. And, they seemed to be laughing. Cas stood a few feet away from the blanket and saw you looking up at the sky, laughing.

"If only Cas were here. Cas...if only i had the guts to tell you about my feelings. Ugh!!" you placed your hands over your face. When you removed them, you saw said angel standing over you.

"Cas! W-what are you doing here? And..how much did you hear?" You laughed nervously.

"Well, i heard everything. I was standing a few feet away." He was looking at you with a serious face.

"Oh..so I guess you heard what I said then?" You looked down at your hands. With a little bit of shuffling, you looked to your right and saw Cas sitting next to you, his face close to yours. You opened your mouth to say something, but was quickly closed when a pair of soft lips met yours. You looked at Castiel surprised as he pulled back.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked, quite concerned.

"No! It's just..you're an angel and I'm well. I'm just..a human. We don't live as long as you do." You sighed, laying back down on the ground looking up at the stars.

"But you do. When you pass on, you stay in your own little heaven where whoever you want can visit..well unless they're alive." You sighed and rolled over away from him. You then felt an arm touch your arm, causing you to look at it, and then look up to see Castiel looking at you.

"And when that day comes, I'll stay by your side until the end of times." You smiled at his response, hugging him tightly.

You woke up, noticing Cas laying beside you. You smiled brightly and sighed contentedly.
