7:00 came a lot faster than I expected. I didn't have much time to get ready because I spent a lot of time with Tyler looking for something to wear tonight, getting my nails filled be they've been needing to filling for a while, and curling my hair with my hair wand. Tyler was always a big help, he was good with stuff like this. I mean, he wasn't gay, but he was very feminine. I guess that's why he was my best friend. He understands a lot of what I go through. He always made sure I had tampons and medicine and snacks when I'm on my period, and when I needed advice, he was there. He's had his heart broken so much, that he's pretty much been through everything. He's been cheated on, he's been broken up with for no reason, he's had girlfriends move away, and his most recent one, Jenna, died in a plane crash a couple months ago. (I know this didn't really happen it's just for the story so go with it) we don't talk about it because he gets really emotional and it makes him have a panic attack.
It was already 6:15 and I wasn't even home.
"Tyler I swear to god. I have to go!" I said, trying to pull away from Tyler who was holding onto my arm trying to make me stay.
"What if you guys break up? What'll happen then?" Tyler said, yanking my arm.
"You have to let us be together first, God Joseph." I said, freeing my arm and leaving.
"Love you Vicky! Don't have too much fun!" Tyler said, waving from the door way.
"No promises!" I said, getting in my car.
The drive to my house was very unsettling. I kept thinking about what Tyler said, about Josh and I breaking up. It made my stomach uneasy. What if we do break up? I thought to myself.
I have to let us get together first. I just kept driving, listening to Melanie Martinez.

Once I got home, it was already 6:30. I was mostly ready, other than my makeup. I went to the bathroom and quickly applied my eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara.
I'm not gonna lie, I looked great. I had my hair curled, my makeup done, and my outfit was pretty cute. I had on a leather skirt, a Ramones tank top with it cut so you could see my sides, and vans.

It was now 7 o'clock, and I was sitting on my couch waiting for my doorbell to ring. A couple minutes later, I hear a really spiffy knock on the door.
I open it, and there stands the most gorgeous human being ever, right before my eyes. He had on this small zebra print t-shirt , and black skinny jeans. His hair was this bright blue, and it looked great on him. He must've done it recently because before, it was red.
"Hey Vic! You look great! You ready to go?" Josh said, looking at me up and down.
"Yeah I just have to grab my phone and stuff. Hold on a sec." I said.
I ran off to grab my things and out the door we went.
"So where are we going?" I said poking Josh's face.
"If you don't stop being a goofball I'm bringing you back home. And it's a surprise. So you have no idea where we're going. HAHA!!"
He was so mean, haha. Why couldn't he tell me?? I hate surprises. I just laughed and kept quiet the rest of the ride.
It took about a half an hour to get there, and it was absolutely beautiful. It was this place in a small town in Northern California where there was this huge campground. There was a small restaurant across the street, so we went there first.
After walking into this beautiful atmosphere, we were sat down by this very weird man.
"Hello and thank you for choosing Annie's, where you get served the best potatoes in town! What can I get you guys? Any drinks, appetizers?"
"I'll take a Coke please. What about you, Vic?"
"I'll take a Mountain Dew, please and thanks."
The man kept staring at me, then said
"Anything for you, coming right up."
He walked away, and he turned around a few times.
"What the hell. That was creepy." I said to Josh, who wasn't paying any attention to me, but to a lady who apparently worked there.
"Me and my date just got here, and that man (points to weirdo) keeps making her uncomfortable. Can we please get someone new to wait on us? I don't want to cause a scene." Josh said.
The lady came over to my side of the table and told me that she was terribly sorry and that someone else was going to be taking care of us. She even gave us a discount!
"Thank you so much! Sorry to be a bother." I said, and Josh redirected me saying that I shouldn't be sorry.
We got our food and stuff and started eating.
"So Ms. Vicky Thorndyke.. Are you ready for a splendid time tonight?" Josh said looking at me while I ate like a pig.
"What do you have planned? It's beautiful out here." I said in return.
"Well, we're spending the night here. When you were out with Tyler, I went to your house and got some of your clothes and some other stuff. So you're covered. We're just gonna watch movies and play video games, and a whole bunch of stuff. We're gonna do s'mores too! Are you excited?"
"Yes!!! Oh my god this is gonna be so much fun!"
After about an hour of eating and chit chatting, we payed for the food and we went back to the cabin.
I went to the bathroom in the cabin, a found a letter:
Vicky,
I took you out here because I know how much you love the mountains and camping and even more, s'mores. I hope you have/had a nice time. You're the prettiest girl ever and I'm happy we're finally getting together!

I took the note and stuffed it in my bra.
When I walked out of the bathroom of the cabin, there was candles and roses and a beautiful Josh Dun standing there.
"So uh, you ready to get this night started? It looks like we're gonna be having sex but we aren't I promise I'm not like that I have stuffed planned and it's not that I'm not like that I swear god you think I'm a fuck boy huh I'm so sorry-"
I ran up to him and kissed him. Our lips connected so perfectly, and it was like the Fourth of July all over again. I put my hands around his neck and he put his hands on my waist.
"What was that for?" Josh said, his cheeks turning a bright red.
"You wouldn't shut up. So I kissed you. Happy now?"
"Uh- uh yeah, yeah I'm good. God I'm happy!" Josh said, picking me up and spinning me around.
" God dammit. We have to go do s'mores. It's already 9:30. Go put on some sweats and take all that makeup off and I'll meet you out back okay cutie?" Josh said, scratching the back of his neck.
"Sure, see ya soon!" I said, running to the bedroom to get my clothes.
I quickly got dressed and walked to the bathroom to wash my makeup off. When I walked outside, There was a warm fire, Josh, and two long sticks. I sat down next to Josh, who immediately put his arm around me. I put my head in the crook of his neck, and kissed his chin.
"You know.." I said, holding my marshmallow under the fire. "I wouldn't mind staying like this forever. Especially with you."
